DRIVING IN LA Here’s the deal. You’re driving home from work. You put your game face on and lock in. It’s Thunder Dome time. You execute your classic maneuver. You merge across 6 lanes of bumper-to-bumper with your blinker flashing like its a declaration of war, dodge three Teslas with “Coexist” stickers fighting over one exit, dodge a Mexican gardener in a hoopty pickup with his ladder dangling who decided to brake for absolutely no reason, and you interpret freeway signs covered in graffiti faster than you identified bogies in combat. The 405 changes people…🤣

Donald Trump ran for office for three reasons: 1) stay out of jail 2) exact revenge on his enemies 3) line his pockets Everything else he says is bullshit.

Dear Los Angeles, See what's going on in Garden Grove? This is the type of crisis situation mayors (and governors) have to deal with. It's very serious, and requires an understanding of how to work with authorities and the ability to make informed decisions quickly - because people's lives are at stake. Sure, it's Orange County. But LA is always one earthquake, one terror attack, one violent riot, or one uncontained wildfire away from the next crisis. Choose someone with more experience than being on a reality tv show, and selling crystals.

Hey @JaxsonDart and @Giants, you just lost a fan. Actually, it's probably more like hundreds of thousands or millions of fans after they see this pathetic and disgusting endorsement of a convicted felon and adjudicated sexual predator who is destroying America. And @camskattebo5, if you feel the same way, this applies to you too. 😠 Do better.

What would @XavierBecerra change if he were to become the next governor of CA? “We build more housing,” Becerra said to @Elex_Michaelson “We also make sure that we don’t go anywhere near where Donald Trump would like us to go when it comes to healthcare,” he added.

My Republican colleagues called a hearing on threats to the Supreme Court’s legitimacy, so I decided to read just a few examples of the $2.4 million in gifts Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted from his ultra wealthy allies:

Rep. Massie’s loss yesterday was not only because of massive funding from AIPAC and Trump megadonors. It is the reality that the modern Republican Party is an authoritarian cult. THE LEADER speaks. Everyone follows — or else.

More than 140 officers were injured defending the Capitol on January 6th. They waited six years for the plaque in their honor to be hung in the Capitol. They watched as Donald Trump pardoned every single one of their assailants. Some of them can no longer work and cannot even get disability benefits. But Donald Trump has set aside nearly $2 BILLION of your taxpayer money to pay the criminals who assaulted them. It’s a punch in the face to every police officer in this country who puts his or her life on the line to protect us. I support Officers Daniel Hodges and Harry Dunn in their lawsuit to stop this outrageous scheme.

Insane stat of the day: California almonds use roughly 3–5.5 million acre-feet of water per year, depending on methodology. That's ~4-7x more water than all data centers in North America used combined in 2025.
