When I write down a list of things I have to do, it guarantees that I do a bunch of other things, and definitely not the list.

This feels like enough people want it that we could do a tournament. I’ll figure out how to arrange.

If anyone can beat me in Mario Kart n64, I will fund their company. 1. They must have a company. 2. They must own an M64. 3. We must play head to head, and I need 24 hours notice.

@ycombinator The world needs a physical response -detection platforms like this are great, especially for investing what happened after an incident, but calling them AI security guards is a stretch

Lexius turns existing security cameras into AI security guards that detect theft, prevent liability, and turns months of video into searchable answers. Congrats on the launch, David and Liam! ycombinator.com/launches/PYc-l…

Palmer Luckey: The biggest beneficiaries of vibecoding are going to be the shape rotators, not the wordcels. "The biggest beneficiaries of vibecoding are going to be the hardware nerds like me." "I was always a pretty terrible software engineer... I've taught myself enough to glue things together and make them work." "I was only able to accomplish what I accomplished because I focused on what I was good at, which was optomechanics, a little bit of electrical, and then the product integration of all of these different components." "I didn't have time to learn to program. If I had spent another year or two learning to program at even a reasonable level, I would've been two years behind on everything else." "And so I'm a big fan of vibecoding—even if everything that comes out of it is slop, it's better than I was able to make." @PalmerLuckey on @tpbn

@bhalligan 100% agree, we spent arguably more time than we should have determining a fair deal for both us and our potential investors

Dear Founders, The vast majority of you are going to regret maximizing your valuation when the bubble pops. Just because you can raise at 100x, doesn't mean its the right decision. ♥️, Brian.

@guilleflorvs Oh and I should also mention we have a working MVP, have done a pilot program to validate early software, have liability figured out, and are patent pending!

@scottdwitt @zanehengsperger That’s exactly it, they spend more time focusing on their customers than their jargon (so it left me to fill in the blanks). Their team simply calls it a better prosthetic and doesn’t focus too much on the technical details when discussing it

@BrandonJ32060 @zanehengsperger That's really cool! (I studied biomed engineering at Madison and commercialized tech from the Uni) But it seems like 'agentic' and related tech jargon undersells the magic that it creates for its user, and the folks around them. Seems more like a 'Smart Ankle' ?

@scottdwitt @zanehengsperger They offer a more advanced prosthetic ankle at a fraction of the cost of a traditional one. Most of their growth and traction has been produced organically via word of mouth. Their agentic ai is specifically trained towards individuals doing normal movements (and works)
