Has USC ever heard of this thing called “rivalry week” in college football? I guess not, so let me explain: On Thanksgiving weekend, many of the biggest rivalry games in college football are played. Many of these games are between schools in different conferences (UF-FSU, Clemson-South Carolina, Kentucky-Louisville, Georgia-GT). Somehow, all of these schools manage to fit an out of conference game in at the end of the season despite also having 9 game conference schedules going forward. USC refuses to make this easy scheduling agreement with Notre Dame because South Bend is too cold for them in November. No, this is not a joke. USC is a soft and pathetic excuse of a college football program. They will never win anything. When that 🐱Lincoln Riley gets fired maybe the next coach with grow some 🥜 and schedule ND again.

@NicoleAuerbach @NBCSports Plain and simple, ND needs USC more than USC needs ND now that USC is in the Big10. USC holds a better hand these days than it did while it was a member of the PAC10.

A person with direct knowledge of the communications between the Big Ten conference office and schools confirmed to @NBCSports that all 18 schools received the full language of the CFP MOU, which was unanimously supported by all current and incoming members in March 2024.
