@yankees047 @imr__01 It’s intriguing, two young QBs essentially rookies (both 2nd year) which could be cornerstones for franchises. A lot to learn from both teams. Plenty of young talent across the board, with KOC calling plays for Minnesota will always make things interesting.

@akpwoiw27 @Demcytheater @esaagar Public company will offshore whatever they have to for the sake of EPS. Government ownership will push for on-shoring and capex spend rather than wasteful stock buyback. The whole premise of outsourcing is to max profits which does not benefit the American worker or economy.

China has 3 new chip fabs coming online in the next 12-24 months designed specifically to triple production of AI chips Meanwhile people here are bitching about a 10% stake in Intel. Wake up people!

@akpwoiw27 @Demcytheater @esaagar 100%. Public companies primary goal is to increase stock price for shareholders. Therefore they prioritize profits, they have no allegiance to their country. MP materials the government is the primary shareholder the assumption is less focus on profits more on production.

Everything is political and everything is geopolitical. Started when the Biden admin arrested Trump. There is no going back. All the marbles. Everytime. You don’t have to like what’s happening to see Pandora’s box was irrevocably opened.

@JHarte1993 @DanCollins2011 Dan has some of the better China takes and insights you can find. He’s been there for 20-30 years with real world experience. You’re arrogant to discount what he says. He’s from Michigan by the way.

@DanCollins2011 Interesting. I thought your podcast on Manifold was excellent. Thought the point you noted that China treated a car as imported if x % of the car parts were imported despite final assembly in china. Not sure if that still is in effect but maybe something US should do.

@Brandon_Kroger Huge change. 80% of everything on the aftermarket is make in China. The OE parts mostly still are made in North America but with alot of China content.
