@StoneValleyKing I don't think even the most optimistic fans should expect 2 full years from Braden Smith and Wyatt Teller. Offensive line remains the most pressing need.

Another day, another Houston Texans Mock Draft Hard not to just attack the trenches with those early picks, so much depth available at the team's biggest need.

😂 Gotchu covered. That village idiot meme lands, but Stephen Miller’s scenario isn’t just anecdote—CIS analysis of Census data shows 81% of Somali households in Minnesota use welfare (vs 21% natives), with 73% on Medicaid & 54% on food stamps. Recent cases like Feeding Our Future exposed $250M+ fraud mostly tied to the community. Scrutinizing incentives & accountability isn’t division; it’s basic policy hygiene for taxpayers.

🚨 JUST IN: Stephen Miller lays it out PERFECTLY Imagine a "native Minnesotan who works as a lineman...worried about his ability to support for and provide his family." "And then imagine that he has a neighbor who's a SOMALI REFUGEE who arrived two years ago and has a Mercedes and NO financial stress and no worries at all in the entire world and never seems to ever go to work at all because he just went to an office in the state, lied on a piece of paper, and got unlimited free money forever for life!" "THAT is the system that is being run and that is the corruption that this task force under the leadership of the Vice President is going to demolish." @StephenM

@ClintStoerner You 100% can get the same social experience outside of college if not better, it’s called the Military. Having done both they are extremely similar once you get outside of Basic and T school

What did the 80K buy? 1) The next step, life on your own, day to day responsibilities, accountability, determination, starting what you finish… the list goes on & on 2) the social side of a college experience, you can’t get it anywhere else.. priceless 3) relationships, life changing personal & professional relationships.. a lot of which are like minded folks 4) the degree removes a huge roadblock, a lot of the time it’s the advantage that you need. Proves that you’re willing to stick to it, figure it out, get it done!! Btw, he prob should’ve introduced him to “some of his friends” from jump. Gettin in the game is the key.
Hector Resendez - Trade School Secrets@TS_Secrets

My neighbor spent about $80k on his son’s college finance degree. His son graduated, filled out 105 applications, and couldn’t land a finance job. Right now, he’s managing a Jimmy John’s while he “waits for a break.” Then my neighbor said, “I’m going to introduce him to some of my friends so he can get an entry-level role.” And it hit me. If the outcome is still who you know, not what you studied… what exactly did the $80k buy?

BREAKING: President Trump rates his talks with the French President: “I’ve spoken to him. He’s been, on a scale of 0-10, I’d say he’s been an 8. Not perfect. But it’s France, we don’t expect perfect.”

Hypothetically if the Texans sign a starting worthy guard before the draft, what are their biggest needs after that? To me it would probably go: C, TE, LB, RB, G The Texans are a good football team and set in most areas so you’re basically just taking chances on best players available in the draft.

@jonmalexander @KObjzy Not that I don’t trust you at all. I believe he’s a better natural fit at LG with an obvious hole to fill there. Also there’s a lot of precedent for similar moves. @LanceZierlein can give a better analysis than me but I trust his evaluation a lot.

Here is how the #Texans O-Line is shaking out so far. They still need one more starter.

@Brandon_Pman @KObjzy He's been a good right tackle. He's not going to all of a sudden make that switch in Year 9. In regards to Trent Brown, it's a $5.5 million deal. That's not starter money. He's often injured. He'll be a swing tackle with the ability to start if needed.

@jonmalexander @KObjzy Because he’s a natural guard and he’s a better fit there and people much more well versed in analyzing offensive linemen say as much? Opposite, why would they re-sign Trent Brown with the intention of signing another starting RT, while still leaving a gaping hole at LG?

@KObjzy Also gotta think about it like this: Why would Braden Smith sign up for that role after 8 years of playing the same position, when he had options?

@P_Town_Stephen To be honest, I would rather play him at RG where he can play the physical guard spot and move Ingram to LF. I would play Trent at RT with Fisher as a swing tackle and then look at OT/OC with either of my first two picks at DT with the other one.

"How can he possibly play guard?? He hasn't played there since he was a child!!! Don't make this mistake! He won't know how to do the guard stuff!"
Cole Thompson@MrColeThompson

@LanceZierlein It’s crazy to see how many people are annoyed that maybe a former two-time All-SEC and one time All-American guard might actually go back to playing the role!

Since this is a BIG discussion topic these days, let me remind everyone that Braden Smith has 32 1/4" arms and some of the best lean muscle mass you will ever find. He's built like a guard and that is his natural position. Hell of job the Colts and Braden did outside though.

@LanceZierlein @rgv_texans Better not be trying to move a lineman that spent 8-10 years at RT to LG when there are viable guards in the market 🙄
