We all knew #TBOW was going to take OU to the next level. We just didn’t know it was going to be him leaving that did it.

@stevebullard @LexiSpear @NCAA NCAA knows this is a foregone conclusion so they mailed in their rebuttal. Best to save the attorney fees on sports they still have the power to regulate, like swimming or track and field.

So to sum up the @ncaa case here: OH: I’ve played college football 3 years and I’d like to play 4. NCAA: yeah but you COULD’ve played 4. Meanwhile we’re gonna give this other dude his 7th.
Colton Sulley@colton_sulley

The NCAA argues Heinecke chose to attend Ohio State on a lacrosse scholarship despite numerous DI scholarship opportunities to play football for institutions outside the Power Four conferences. Heinecke received scholarship offers from Army, Navy, Northeastern State and UCO.

The fact that a player can take 5 steps backwards & it’s not a travel, is another reason why sports fans don’t care for the NBA like they used to.

@dartszn15 @MrStats_ @JonnyRoot_ It’s not a travel. He gathers, with two hands on the ball, then steps back 1 step and then the other foot comes down. Looks really awkward but very legal.

@MrStats_ @JonnyRoot_ He took 4 steps after the gather. If that’s actually legal this game is cooked beyond belief and you’re part of the problem for being okay with it.

Shoutout Cooper Flagg last night! With that Lakers lost they are tied with the Nuggets The Lakers final 4 games: Vs Thunder @ Warriors Vs Suns Vs Jazz The Nuggets final 3 games: Vs Blazers Vs Grizzlies Vs Thunder @ Spurs The Thunder’s final @ Lakers @ Clippers @ Nuggets Vs Suns The ideal scenario is VERY possible We beat the Lakers and Clippers and the 1 seed is locked up with two games we can rest our guys in Lakers lose *at least* 2 to Thunder, Warriors (with Steph back), and Suns Nuggets win against Blazers, the Grizzlies, and Thunder (resting our starters+) This would force the scenario of the Spurs and Nuggets facing off in the 2nd round, while we would likely face off against the winner of the Lakers/Rockets The plan is in place, let’s watch it execute 🫡

Not giving Owen Heinecke an extra year was one thing. A full hour and a Chainsmokers concert between games has me ready to march on Indianapolis on Tuesday. We will not negotiate with terrorists.

@HoodiiMamba Last night was one of the quieter ones. You should hear it when the game is close or if it’s a rival.

When I was a kid I hated Michael Jordan. I was a Reggie Miller fan & complained constantly that MJ got unfair whistle & wasn’t that good. Then I grew up and realized MJ was/is the GOAT. Some of the NBA fans/pundits on this app need to grow up. You’re witnessing greatness.

@AndrewDBailey OKC is a “difficult viewing experience” only to those who truly don’t know ball.

Thunder fans are understandably outraged by their team’s reputation, but it’s hard to imagine the Thunder’s long-term legacy being anything but this. Every time they’re on national TV, this is the discussion. Several opposing coaches have given their version of the rant below. OKC is very good. Probably going to win a second straight title. SGA is probably going to win a second straight MVP. But they are a truly difficult viewing experience.
New York Basketball@NBA_NewYork

Brown: "OKC fantastic getting officials to think foul…gamesmanship off charts…SGA best…I got T'd, they still shot 38 FTs…so can't waste energy on refs. [Instead] let's yell at each other: 'Box tf out' 'Take care of tf ball'…things you have to do on road to beat r good teams"

@BranonHayes @JoelXLorenzi JWill’s ability to stretch the floor and pull Wemby out of the paint (or shoot over the top if he stays home) while also acting as an elite passing hub once that paint has been vacated has been exceptionally undervalued in these conversations.

@JoelXLorenzi The closest they’ve come to playing the “real” OKC was the very first game where JDub was still heavily hampered by his wrist. In every other game JDub was still recovering, OKC had a million injuries, and were in a massive shooting slump and losing to everyone. Also no McCain.

@ShaiMVP25 @PolymarketSport We appreciate the Nebraska fans coming down but this is just not accurate. I’m also a season ticket holder and was at game 7. It was well above 115db

🚨CRAZY: Nebraska fans broke the db record in OKC's arena (where they won game 7 of the Finals): 115 decibles - Nebraska bball fans 112 desibles - OKC Thunder fans 115 db is the loudest recorded crowd at Paycom Center.

@TJEckertKJRH I think it was the 9 losses in a row that had something to do with it.

I’d like to think an entire NCAA Tournament resume doesn’t come down to a single game, BUT… Missouri hitting 2 wild buzzer beaters against Oklahoma in Columbia might end up being the difference between the #Sooners making the field and not.
