The term "woke right" always made me wonder. It was used against people who weren't typically slinging accusations of bigotry or attempting to shut others down, by people who were using exactly those tactics. The meaning was inverted--because woke invariably turns irony up to 11

@BretWeinstein Exactly. The people who called others "woke right" are the ones who so obviously deserve the label: Those who spend all day screeching that those they disagree with are bigots, who want curbs on speech, who imposed DEI programs for Jewish and Israeli students on campuses, etc.

The worship of God in the manner of true religion matters more than ANYTHING. This was true in 2020 when the world shut down for a moderate cold virus. It's still true in 2026 when there's a stupid war.
