Torn on this draft lottery. It’s so very funny that the Canucks didn’t win because they were generationally awful, but the Leafs winning is the only thing any of us will hear about for the next five months.

@the_habitant Flames fans have had one cup run in 40 years. No sustained success has lead them to be one of the most irrelevant teams and fan bases in Canada.

From my perspective, the most civil fanbases that don’t make your brain rot every time you talk to them are: • Anaheim Ducks • Calgary Flames • Seattle Kraken • LA Kings • Utah Mammoth

@jamienye If McDavid was on an American team, would he get this many questions about his future with that team? Took Ovechkin 13 years to win a Cup in Washington (couldn't get past 2nd round). Don't remember the questions on him leaving.
