@canes407talk This was a three loss season with two unranked losses. Needed a lot of help to even be in a position for the committee to justify putting them in the CFP so that they could get hot. This was fun to watch. But dominant is not a word I would use to describe the season.

@LandonTengwall I’m no expert on watching film, but I see a 10 yard gap between the line and the coverage, and I see no outlets or options in that gap to help the quarterback avoid both a sack and a bad throw. Seems like an ongoing issue, which seems like a scheme/play calling failure.

College football is funny because Mario Cristobal is one of the worst football coaches I have ever witnessed, and his staff is similalry inept, but they will make lots of money and experience great success because they are good at identifying good players and giving them money.

Usually officials get criticized for being too protective of the QB. In this case, they missed 2 late hits on Mendoza that drive, and the second one was clearly targeting.
