As someone who grew up in a union family, I’m very proud to be endorsed by @liunanewengland, @liunaeasternreg, @local79nyc and @MasonTenders. Together, we’re going to keep fighting for workers and make New York stronger.

I don't know what Democrats are supposed to do with overwhelmingly Republican unions, because as anyone who has had a loved one with an addiction knows, it's impossible to help someone who refuses to help themselves.

If @GovKathyHochul is serious about settling the @LIRR workers’ contract and avoiding strike action, she would pull the poisonous anti-worker lawyer Gary Dellaverson out of the bargaining . But in truth she hired him to do what precisely what’s occurring , which is him tossing up “gimmicks,” not the real hourly wage increases which would bring settlement. Hochul putting Dellaverson on 1010 WINS to defend her negligence in this forthcoming strike is akin to throwing gasoline on a red hot fire. @transportworker @NYSAFLCIO @CentralLaborNYC

NEW: @GovKathyHochul “called into this morning’s negotiations with one simple message: getting a deal requires both sides to work together, including labor. Nobody wins in a strike - riders will suffer and thousands of workers will lose out on wages they need.” #NBC4NY

.@POTUS on his state visit to China: "We have a relationship, he and I, and we've been working together a long time. We've gotten along well. When I first came here, China was really taking advantage of the United States—he understands that—and now, we do great with China."

NEW: @KathyHochul filmed a TV commercial with @MicahLasher to further support his campaign for @JerryNadler's seat in NY-12. Nadler is also in the video, which takes place at an UWS bagel spot

In three days, the @LIRR may be shut down by a strike, one that has been needlessly encouraged and accelerated by President Trump. Nobody wins in a strike: it would hurt both @LIRR commuters and workers who rely on paychecks to support their families. The MTA has been at the table and ready to negotiate. The unions must stay at the table to reach a deal.

LIRR service may shut down as early as May 16 if railroad unions go on strike. Avoid nonessential travel and work from home, if possible. The MTA will provide limited shuttle bus service on weekdays for essential workers and those who cannot telecommute. Learn more and see travel alternatives at mta.info/lirrstrike.
