@scrumming_ten lol Scotland has won one game vs Ireland in 10 years! FR completely overrated. Plenty of great 10s in Ireland.

Gold & Silver - If they rip higher from here...great, we have LONG TERM positions. I don't find this chart at all convincing though, with no clear trading entry yet. New positions can be established in the $70's, $60's or even $50's if we happen to dip that low 👇

Case in point. I'm short gold today and have been since early March. Yes, I'm a gold perma bull. Right now I'm short — exactly like Billy Ray would be — because Turkey is showing you what's already happening. The Turkish central bank has sold roughly 120 tonnes of gold to defend the Lira and fund energy imports. Bernard Dahdah was explicit in April: central banks are now selling gold "to defend their currency and/or to fund energy purchases." bullionvault.com/gold-news/gold… When the marginal central bank flips from structural buyer to forced seller to pay for energy, gold's biggest bid disappears. Once central banks turn dovish after the energy crisis hits growth, the trade resets and I'm back long. Even gold bulls have to read the tape. Gold 4,000 then 10,000. 9/10

Welcome to the most asymmetric trade in modern financial history. The thread below lays out why. The opportunity exists because capital has chased the AI trade while ignoring the physical assets AI requires to run — assets that have quietly become the best-performing asset class of the decade. Since October 2020 when we first called for the commodity super cycle: QCI Total Return +217%, GSCI Total Return +205%, Gold +140%. NASDAQ trails at +130%. S&P 500 at +85%. The top three are all commodities. Yet oil cannot get out of its own way while copper and the broader atom complex prints fresh highs . That is the dislocation. That is the trade. Get long. Buckle in. Hang on for the ride. Forgive the longer posts in this thread — attempting to mimic my old 10-bullet commodity takes. On to it.

Almost three years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver cancer. After ~50 rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and a life-saving liver transplant, I am cancer-free. This is my story: I was 12 years old when I first heard the words "Fibrolamellar carcinoma", a rare and aggressive liver cancer that primarily affects children, teenagers, and young adults. It is said that FLC occurs in about 1 in 5 million people. We caught it early, at Stage 1, and surgeons were able to remove the tumor. For the next 10 years, I was monitored closely through bloodwork, CT scans, and MRIs, and I showed no evidence of disease. Life went on the way you hope it does after a childhood cancer. I genuinely believed it was behind me. Then, in November 2023, 18 years after my original diagnosis, sudden and severe abdominal pain sent me to the emergency room. What we discovered changed my life and the lives of everyone around me forever. The cancer had come back, and this time, aggressively. Stage 4. Multiple tumors throughout my liver and lymph nodes, and potentially my pancreas. Surgery was ruled out completely. I moved through clinical trials while the disease continued to progress. The conversations with my doctors were not optimistic. "There's not much we can do." "We're looking to extend your survivability." These were the worst of moments. I was newly married, with life turned upside down and options narrowing. It really felt like there was no hope. That's when my brother found FibroFighters - a patient advocacy and education foundation for those impacted by FLC. From the moment my family connected with Tom Stockwell and Dr. Paul Kent, the organization's medical director and one of the world's leading experts on Fibrolamellar, everything started to change. They gave us direction, a plan, and a sense of possibility we had lost. In no uncertain terms, I am alive today because of them. Over the next 18 months, I underwent nearly 50 rounds of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation. Remarkably, the tumors began to shrink. In October 2025, almost two years after the night I walked into that emergency room, I received news that was originally impossible: I was eligible for a liver transplant. My sister-in-law, Luisa, stepped forward as my donor, an act of love and courage so profound that I am still, every single day, searching for words large enough to hold it. In the same operation, surgeons performed a Liver Transplant and a Whipple procedure, a one-of-a-kind surgery. I sit here today, seven months later, with no evidence of disease. When you're discharged from the transplant floor of the hospital, you ring a bell. There's a plaque next to it. It says: - I ring it once for myself, to commemorate my journey so far and to reflect on this moment. - I ring it again for those who have supported me and been by my side. - I ring it once more to honor my donor, who has given me a second chance. - I ring it lastly to encourage all of those who are still waiting on the list. This post is my attempt to honor the fourth ring, to help and encourage those still in need. I'm raising money for FibroFighters, the foundation that saved my life. They do extraordinary work for a disease that is still desperately misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and mistreated. Your support helps them do the same for the patients and families going through what I went through two years ago. secure.givelively.org/donate/fibrofi… If you can give, please consider giving. If you can't, please share my story. Either one helps someone still in their fight. Most importantly, to all those impacted by Fibrolamellar, there is reason to be hopeful. I am proof. *** #fibrolamellar #FLC

Gold & Gold Miners (shown here using GLD & GDX) continue to show classic consolidation, where Miners underperform the metal. You can see where the Miners were outperforming up to the end of February. Expecting the Miners to re-establish relative strength in a few (+) months.

A MIT professor gave a 1-hour lecture in 2019 that has 18 million views. He died 5 months after recording it. It was his final gift to the world. Patrick Winston taught at MIT for 50 years. The smartest engineers on earth sat in his classroom. And he spent his last lecture teaching them the one skill their degrees never covered. How to speak. 15 lessons that will change how you communicate forever: Never open with a joke. Your audience is not ready to laugh yet. Open with a promise of what they will know by the end. Your ideas are like your children. You are too close to them. What is obvious to you is invisible to everyone else. Explain the obvious. The 5-minute rule: the first 5 minutes of any talk determine whether people will listen for the next 55. Spend more time on your opening than anything else. Repeat your most important idea 3 times in 3 different ways. Once is never enough. Build a fence around your idea. Tell people what it is NOT before you tell them what it IS. Verbal punctuation. Pause. Let the idea land before moving to the next one. Ask questions nobody will answer. Then wait 7 seconds. The silence is not awkward. It is processing. Never read your slides. Your audience can read. They cannot listen and read simultaneously. Use the board not the slides. Writing forces you to slow down. Slowing down forces clarity. Inspire before you inform. Nobody learns from someone they are not inspired by. End with a contribution not a summary. Tell them what you gave them. Not what you said. Never say thank you at the end. It is weak. End with something that lands. Stories make ideas stick. Data makes ideas understood. You need both. In that order. The quality of your communication determines the quality of your ideas in the eyes of the world. Not the ideas themselves. Practice is not preparation. Practice IS the skill. Patrick Winston understood something most people spend their entire careers missing. Your ideas are only as powerful as your ability to transfer them into someone else's mind. You can be the smartest person in the room and be completely invisible. Or you can master communication and make average ideas feel like breakthroughs. He chose to spend his last lecture teaching this. Watch it tonight. Bookmark this first. Follow @cyrilXBT for more lessons from the people who built the future.

Here is an important reminder: Today’s US federal debt is only about 3% backed by its gold reserves. That assumes the US actually holds what is reported at Fort Knox — which is a separate discussion. If US government debt were backed by gold at the same 51% level seen in the 1940s, total US gold reserves would need to be worth roughly $20 trillion. With 261.5 million ounces of gold, that would imply a gold price near $75,000 per ounce. This is just math — don’t shoot the messenger.
