On February 2, 1992, Dixie Landings Resort opened at Walt Disney World! Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, and Brer Fox would be the mascots of this resort, likely to promote the then upcoming Splash Mountain. They were featured in merchandise, promotional material, rooms, and more! In 2001, the resort was rebranded as Port Orleans Riverside. Brer Rabbit and friends would remain the mascots of the resort up until the early 2010s. They would only be referenced after this point, and references to the characters were retired in 2020.

The full video that these screenshots came from has been leaked on YouTube by a user named Fusion. This video shows how fast they were with destroying Splash Mountain. This also shows that the animatronics were cut from their wiring rather than being properly removed.

I still wish Blue Sky Studios was never brought and shut down by friggin Disney.
And the Blue Sky employees, animators, and artists could've worked at home to help make more films during the pandemic.
