ME Association at it again with their top-notch activism. They want us to write letters of hope….absolute nonsense imo. Expanding energy for what reason? Yes I know there’s been progress research wise but I’m still not feeling hopeful for treatments which is what we all need!

@Molbaas @PutrinoLab Nope. It is an author choice to solely use CFS. Since everyone is drawing conclusions based on word choice from what boils down to a fancy PR doc & not a pre-print, that's a pretty big word choice to ignore. Unless I missed a hidden cache of data?

Shame, but I’ve not found the work around two day CPET to be compelling as a biomarker or even feasible as a test for many who are more severe. Interested in Systrom’s work on invasive CPET to understand the physiology and Wust’s work on muscle biopsy as a biomarker. Onward!

1) Unfortunately, it looks like Benjamin Natelson's group failed to replicate the 2-day exercise testing results in ME/CFS. "The data do not support using the 2 day CPET protocol to define PEM or disability."

Fluoride, like anything (even water or oxygen) is all about dose. The levels in municipal water are FAR below harmful thresholds, but benefits go well beyond fewer cavities: less tooth pain & infection, fewer dental visits, less missed school, and major cost savings for families + communities!

He raised concerns that Drs didn’t like to discuss his opinion that POTs/EDS are overdiagnosed publicly,so I offered to discuss it publicly w/evidence & instead of agreeing to his own suggestion he appears to have blocked me…I’m guessing he meant only Drs who shared his view? 🤷‍♀️

Interesting how my physician colleagues on here will complain about the corporatization of medicine that robs time, detail, and trust from the doctor-patient relationship and then also complain about patients with chronic diseases filling those gaps with online peer support.
