Before any other cryptocurrency, XRP prioritized something most of the industry overlooked, ISO 20022 compliance. Today, that decision pays off as the network processes more than $434 billion in transactions every day. ISO 20022 is one of the most significant advantages in modern finance, yet it’s still misunderstood by much of the crypto space. Many projects focus on building technology without addressing how to connect with the existing financial system. ISO 20022 provides that bridge. The world’s largest banks have already been using this standard.  ISO 20022 is a global messaging standard that allows financial institutions to communicate in the same language. It enables true interoperability, making it possible for systems worldwide to connect and exchange information without friction. Ripple is positioned to play a central role in tokenizing traditional financial systems, an opportunity measured in the tens of trillions of dollars. This goes far beyond payments. XRP could serve as the infrastructure banks use to tokenize and transfer massive volumes of assets, enabling faster settlement, lower costs, and greater interoperability across global markets.

Over the last 6 months, we grew to become ~ 10% of B2B global stablecoin settlement volume. With Ripple, we will further accelerate our shared mission. In a recent conversation with Leonard Schellberg at @beincrypto I discussed how @Ripple is unlocking the next phase of blockchain utility for institutions on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The XRPL is acting as a foundational layer for financial applications such as the tokenization of real-world assets. Two recent Ripple partnerships highlight this: Our work with Ctrl Alt and the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has seen the DLD issue title deeds directly on the XRP Ledger. Guggenheim Treasury Services is issuing tokenized commercial paper on the XRPL in partnership with @Ripple and @zeconomy_x . As these use cases are established on the XRPL, new features such as the recently launched EVM sidechain are further enabling programmable, compliant DeFi and paving the way for a multi-chain future. And as the interaction between decentralized and regulated systems becomes the norm, the importance of public blockchains like the XRPL, which offer transparency, immutability, and security, is growing.
