@MattVerderame Exactly how I feel with people and their “let’s go after Veach” takes. He’s the greatest GM in Chiefs history. They may have a down year but sustaining a a high level of play in the NFL is impossible. Everything is designed to bring you back to earth.
English

The Chiefs and Veach have done a ton right, which is why they’ve been to five of the past six Super Bowls.
That said, winning is hard. Being a dynasty is almost impossible. And sustaining one is the biggest challenge sports can offer

Write about the slow, boring erosion of the Chiefs dynasty, and how we got to this point. theringer.com/2025/09/18/nfl…
English

@zackeisen21 The offense is definitely coaching to me. They all look out of sync. The o-line isnt confident. Neither is Pat. Receivers look a bit lost at times. So does Kelce. They have no identity. They may not have great talent around Mahomes, but they shouldn’t be this abysmal.
English

@chessmyantidrug @JT4630 @zackeisen21 Unmmm….have we forgotten Veach has delivered 3 Super Bowls? He is the greatest GM the Chiefs have ever had. I think years of picking late, some bad picks (it happens to everyone), and some bad singings have caused this. Sometimes you gotta tear it down and start over.
English

@JT4630 @zackeisen21 He also gave us Breeland Speaks, Skyy Moore, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Felix Anudike-Uzamoh, Chamarri Conner, and other misses. Hitting on a handful of guys doesn't negate the whiffs.
English

@AbdulCarterMVP Chiefs fan here. It’s been a while but I accept my place.
English

@highbrow_nobrow @atrupar The amount of gaslighting here is wild.
English

Trump Spox: "I think it's frankly ridiculous that anyone in this room would even suggest that President Trump is doing anything for his own benefit.” @atrupar
English

@ReallyAmerican1 It’s wild to me that people would defend Kirk’s comments here.
English

In his own racist words: JD Vance, on Charlie Kirk's podcast, denies that Kirk ever said anything like "Black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously." He said go and watch it.
Challenge accepted, JD.
It was much worse.

@SharpFootball Uh oh. Looks the like the Eagles tush push days may be numbered.
English

@ExerciseMachina @patriottakes It’s really not hard to sift through stuff. There’s quite a lot out there.
English

Ok guys, so Charlie Kirk was on the air a lot, gave hundreds of speeches and tweeted since high school. We need to sift through it all to find something he may have regretted saying so we can attack the character of a man who can no longer defend himself. Let us continue to snipe at him from a safe distance, figuratively speaking.
English

Charlie Kirk on the Dallas Cowboys:
“The Cowboys are so easy to hate. Why is every Cowboys fan like a 5 foot 6 Mexican with long jean shorts?”

@chester_gr10193 @donwinslow Because that’s not how this works. You can’t just not like someone and say they have committed treason and then claim they should be put to death. The person would have to commit ACTUAL treason. To say someone should be put to death without having committed treason is HORRIFIC.
English

@donwinslow What’s wrong with it? Joe was clearly guilty of treason and that penalty is death in America.
English

@KCSportsNetwork I think the Chiefs can still turn the ship around and make the playoffs. The o-line is young and can improve. The WRs coming back will help. They just need to win 2 of the next 3 and it’s possible.
English

Kelce being more expensive than Mahomes is sending me. Call a medic.

@scottjbrown @NotOpCue @WSJ @POTUS That only makes it more credible. If you knew you were going to be sued and it was fake, you'd never run the story. They have a legit source.
English

Exclusive: For Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, friends created a book of bawdy letters. One was from Donald Trump. on.wsj.com/3TL8s7C
English

@JDVance The WSJ is a highly credible news organization that often agrees with conservative values. They would not publish this story without verifying it.
English

Forgive my language but this story is complete and utter bullshit. The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it.
Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?
Yashar Ali 🐘@yashar
BREAKING The Wall Street Journal has reviewed a book put together for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, as part of that book a letter was submitted by Donald Trump. Trump’s letter features a drawing of a naked woman and this text which imagines a conversation between Trump and Epstein. Full Story: bit.ly/45bmsxO
English

@JDVance Imagine a piece of news coming out from a credible source and your only defense is to say, "They didn't tell us first!"
English

@chiefsnmahomie @zackeisen21 I mean, this is quite a take for a team
coming off of 3 super bowls in a row with 2 wins.
English

@zackeisen21 Maybe it’s time for Reid to retire. Absolute shit show for the coaching on the Offense. It’s amazing how bad this line has been for a few years now.
English

@theoriginaltxo @Matty_KCSN @RealMNchiefsfan Definitely a part of it. But that’s also on the line and the RBs. We hadn’t ran the ball well at all and the Eagles knew that. I so agree with running to keep them honest. It would have kept us in the game longer.
English

@BrittonFields3 @Matty_KCSN @RealMNchiefsfan Not even trying to run the ball is why he had no time. Didn't even try to keep the defense honest.
English

@bturner23 Those stats say the Chiefs should have been in it. The problem was abysmal, anemic offense that had horrible turnovers, couldn’t move the ball, and gave up lots of sacks.
English

@TheStormRedux What cultural shift are you saying is happening? I’m honestly not sure what you are implying.
English

@nicksortor Why is this healing when one player shakes Trumps hand? I’m honestly not sure what you believe this means.
