@aedison I think people will often say crueler things than they actually want policy-wise. Chappelle has said some mean things about trans people but I suspect he’s like many people on this and other issues in that if confronted about the cruelty of policies he would be hesitant.

@vodkasnowflake @MattLech When asked if she would be willing to protest, she said that being trans was already protest enough and it would be to dangerous to risk arrest as a trans person. To me, this proves that she knows what a big risk protesting is, she just wants other people to take it.

@theserfstv @NovelistNick I think the point of the show was how vices and weaknesses get the better of ultimately good people, especially when put in bad situations. Skylar’s not immune, she certainly made some fuck ups, but I do think you’re supposed to know she is a better person than Walt.

@zippersoups @Blarfk @weeabob Isn’t yelling about DoorDash; the solution is having a government that can effectively deliver services to the most vulnerable. There are people who are too disbled to leave their house, but they probably have zero income anyway. DoorDash prices aren’t their issue.

It wouldn’t have mattered if delivery was free even, because he couldn’t pay for the food itself. Government and charity programs can and do serve people who can’t otherwise travel, the solution

I was arrested for protesting during spring '24. Two of my fellow protestors were only acquitted last week, nearly two years after. Protesters at my campus had wrists broken by cops and had their civil rights violated in jail. Others were indefinitely suspended. Under Biden(1/3)

@SkippArth Yup. Just by existing in America in 2026, trans women are already doing civil disobedience. And I always say “never do two crimes at the same time”. Another example would be don’t bring drugs or illegal weapons to a protest. There are plenty of cls people. Let them take the heat
