Reasons why I’m higher than most in Mavs Twitter on Cameron Boozer: - An all time analytical profile for any age, and he did it at age 18 - Makes everyone around him better on offense with his passing and screening - Is a better defender than given credit for (finished third in ACC DPOY voting). I do share concerns with foot speed on that end, but I think he’ll be a positive impact team defender -He gets knocked for using his physical dominance in college, but at only 18 years old, why couldn’t he do that in the league also, especially in his prime -To the last point, the Mavs can stand to add more physicality to their team. The Mavs play big lineups, but also don’t always seem to win the physical wars on the glass -Can handle the ball and run pick and roll himself with his advanced reading of the game -Somehow an underrated 3 point shooter at 40.7% on 3.6 3PA. -I think there’s underrated superstar upside with his IQ and physical dominance package, along with his already ready made skills on O -People say he’s a bad fit with Coop and I don’t get.
