I see people say the next Smash Bros. should be a “reboot” with a significantly smaller roster so they can revamp characters’ movesets and stuff and I really don’t think they realize how DISASTROUS that would be from a marketing perspective after everything Ultimate gave us.

honestly the move sets are at their best when they’re asking “how would this character fight?” and not “how many references can we make?”

this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but i really do like smash's interpretation of mario. people say it sucks because he isn't acting all joyful like in his own games, but that's why i find it unique & interesting. it stands out effectively and i honestly wouldn't change it.

@emilyis_emilies Idk. I think people are too harsh on reference heavy movesets / concepts. If its based on things the character does / how they move etc in their own game, & the abilities are appropriate, i think the more “references” the merrier tbh

@3Caramelg122 I think there are plenty of reasons, being low performance, short battery life, controller drift and expensive games being the most important but not the only ones. Good reasons to buy it would be if you travel a lot or you really really like Nintendo exclusives
