Never really understood why equalisation is solely reliant on the draft. For me, it should include salary and list spots An idea: If a team is bottom 8 for 2 consecutive years - they get a “veteran” list spot with half outside the salary cap. Encourages the Hodge type moves 🧵

If anything a year in which we finish bottom & have a bid matched for Walker thus giving us a free end of 1st round pick is what we need.

Why wouldn’t you include arguably our best draft pick just two years ago in Isaac Kako? @FootyonNine He was also a first-rounder (pick 13).

its such a confusing time because for the first time in ages players themselves are saying: "its not the system/coaches, its us". which clearly tells us that Brad & co. haven't lost the group but its not translating at all on the field. its a very weird place to sit as a fan.
