Too many young people are resenting Boomers, claiming that Boomers had it " easy " financially in their youth. Here are a few fun facts about growing up Boomer. 1. Almost everyone grew up with one bathroom. Mom, Dad and all 3-6 siblings. 2. If you did get to take a vacation, you drove. With no air conditioning. No cup holders. No iPads. Just black vinyl seats and bologna sandwiches. 3. There were no club sports. No Parks and Rec activities. Summer camp was for rich kids. Get yourself a bike, a stick and a few friends. If you were bored, you laid in the grass and looked at clouds. 4. You ate what was served. Even if it was chicken livers. No DoorDash, no backup Totino's rolls. 5. No AP classes, no PSEO, no "fun" elective. They assigned you to a class. You went. You did what they asked. Or else. 6. Unless you had rich parents, you had a nice VFW wedding. Maybe rent a room at a modest hotel. 7. Most Boomers got their first pedi and mani in their 50s (when their feet got farther away). We didn't even know people got massages in real life, only in Hollywood. 8. You packed your own lunch for decades. 9. No one knew what red light therapy was, a facial, a spa day, or a cold plunge. Your gym was the YMCA. Usually in a rather old building. 10. We grew up with 18 percent inflation, 14 percent mortgage rates, 3 million continuing unemployment claims, and 200 other applicants competing for the same job. Now, this is not to say Millenials and Gen Z have it easy or don't face problems. It's just to say, nobody has it easy or doesn't face problems. My only hope, as my mom would say, is I live long enough to see my kids' kids complain about how easy they had it!

I offer my sincere apologies to all old people. Now that I am old, it turns out that having my morning coffee, eating my vegetables, taking naps during the day, not driving at night, not having any company after dark, not leaving my house at night, and being in bed by 9pm is awesome. You guys were right. I was wrong.

The French President Just Reminded The World What Class Looks Like Donald Trump stood in front of a camera and did what Donald Trump does. He mocked Emmanuel Macron’s wife. He put on a fake French accent. He told the world that Brigitte Macron “treats him extremely badly” and that the French president was “still recovering from a right hook to the jaw.” It was the geopolitical equivalent of a man shouting at clouds. Macron was in South Korea when someone asked him about it. He paused. He considered the question with the expression of a man who has just been informed that a golden retriever has urinated on his Bentley. Then he said this: “Neither elegant nor up to standard.” Seven words. That was it. Seven words delivered with the quiet, devastating calm of someone who genuinely does not need to raise their voice because the staff will handle it. It was the verbal equivalent of a single raised eyebrow from a man in a perfectly fitted suit, looking down at someone who has just spilled red wine on the carpet at Versailles. Consider the man on the other end of that eyebrow. A man who wears a red baseball cap to diplomatic meetings and a white one to funerals. A man who arrives at the most solemn occasions in the world looking like he has just wandered in from a golf buggy. A man whose morning routine apparently involves industrial quantities of spray tan applied to a face that has, at various medical estimations, the cardiovascular profile of a blocked Manhattan sewer. A man whose idea of a state dinner is a quarter pounder eaten alone in a motorcade. This is the man who decided to lecture the world about Emmanuel Macron’s marriage. Trump called NATO a “paper tiger.” He mocked a head of state’s wife. He uploaded the whole embarrassing performance to the White House YouTube channel, briefly, before someone in the building apparently remembered that diplomacy exists and pulled the plug. Macron’s response landed like a white glove placed gently on a table. Not thrown. Placed. “Neither elegant nor up to standard.” In French diplomatic circles, that sentence is a declaration of war. In English, it translates roughly to: I have noticed your behavior, and I find it beneath comment, which is why I am commenting on it once, quietly, before returning to matters of actual importance. There is a man in this story who has spent eighty years on this earth and still cannot find a suit that fits, a tie that stops at his belt, or a shade of foundation that occurs anywhere in nature. And there is a man who responded to being publicly humiliated by the most powerful person on earth with seven words and a expression that could freeze the Seine. Macron has something Trump has spent his entire life trying to purchase and never quite managed. Class. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

And if they ignore this. What then. Tell you what tactical nuclear weapons are in play from this madman .
Reza Nasri@RezaNasri1

Secretary-General @antonioguterres, Your Excellency, On 1 April 2026, during a White House address on “Operation Epic Fury,” President Donald J. Trump publicly declared that the United States had achieved or was “nearing completion” of its core military objectives against Iran, including the destruction of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, ballistic missile arsenal and production facilities, navy, and related infrastructure. Yet in the same statements he explicitly threatened to “hit [Iran] extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,” to “bring them back to the Stone Age, where they belong,” and to strike “each and every one of their electric generating plants … very hard and probably simultaneously.” These declarations are not protected political speech. They are direct, public evidence of "mens rea" for the commission of war crimes under customary international humanitarian law and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. They must be condemned immediately and without reservation. The following substantiates this assertion: 1- The speaker's own admissions that military objectives have already been achieved or are “on track … shortly” negate any claim of continuing military necessity. Further attacks would therefore violate the fundamental principle that force may be used only when required by a definite military advantage at the time of the attack (Additional Protocol I, Art. 52(2); customary IHL). 2- The explicit threat to “bomb Iran back to the Stone Age” and to destroy electric generating plants, objects indispensable to civilian survival, constitutes a prohibited act or threat of violence whose primary purpose is to spread terror among the civilian population (Additional Protocol I, Art. 51(2); Rome Statute Art. 8(2)(b)(i) and (ii)). 3- The statements demonstrate a "priori intent" to launch disproportionate and indiscriminate attacks, knowing that massive civilian harm would be clearly excessive in relation to any residual military advantage (Rome Statute Art. 8(2)(b)(iv)). 4- Under the doctrine of superior command responsibility, president Donald J. Trump and Secretary of War Peter Brian Hegseth would be personally liable for any war crimes that follow. Their own words remove any defense of ignorance or lawful necessity. These declarations will one day be Exhibit A in any future international or national criminal proceeding. The United Nations was founded precisely to prevent such threats to international peace and security and to uphold the rule of international humanitarian law. Silence or equivocation in the face of these public threats would undermine the credibility of the entire multilateral system. You are therefore called upon you, Mr. Secretary-General, and upon the authorities copied above, to: - Immediately and publicly condemn these threats as violations of the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute; - Refer the matter without delay to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court for preliminary examination; - Convene an urgent meeting of the Security Council to address the imminent risk of further war crimes; - Direct the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the ICRC to issue formal legal assessments and monitoring reports; and - Take all other necessary measures under the UN Charter and international law to prevent the threatened crimes and to protect the civilian population of Iran. History will record whether the international community acted with the speed and moral clarity that these circumstances demand. The words spoken on 1 April 2026 are now part of the permanent record. They must not be allowed to become the prelude to atrocity. Cc: - @antonioguterres – UN Secretary-General - @UN – United Nations - @KarimKhanQC – ICC Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan KC - @UNHumanRights – Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (Volker Türk) - @ICRC – International Committee of the Red Cross - @UN_HRC – UN Human Rights Council

🇺🇸🧐 TRUMP IS CRAZY. THE LEVEL OF MADNESS WILL KEEP RISING — IT’S GOING TO BLOW SOON! That’s not me saying it — that’s former Trump lawyer Cobb, who worked with him for many years. “Trump has always been driven by narcissism and nothing but narcissism, but now he has simply gone insane — it’s obvious to everyone around him. He needs to be removed from the White House. He is seriously mentally ill.” Cobb’s words are not a revelation, but a diagnosis that has long been in the air. Narcissism here is not just a personality trait — it is the engine, the steering wheel, and the braking system all at once. An impulse means action. He wants something — he declares it. He feels offended — he starts breaking things. The problem is that the world is not a reality TV stage where you can rewrite the script after a failed line. But Trump behaves exactly like that: as if each of his whims is a new episode, and the consequences can be edited out in post-production. Hence the feeling of growing madness. Not because he suddenly changed — but because the system around him is no longer capable of smoothing out his impulses. Before, there were filters. Now — there is a microphone and a live broadcast. And yes, “we will see more and more madness.” Because a narcissist cannot stop. He always needs more — attention, conflict, drama. That is his oxygen. The question is no longer what he will do next. The question is — how much longer the world is willing to tolerate it.

Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth have normalised genocidal language. They say things like "we will rain death upon them" or "we will send them back to the stone age" as if these are normal things to say. They boast about killing people like it's nothing. Are Trump and Hegseth human? Or are they satanic monsters? I'm serious. Normal people do not enjoy inflicting death and misery on others, serial killers do. I honestly believe these two demons should be locked up. It would be safer for America and the world.

One of the most stunning things to me in this second Trump presidency debacle is how NORMAL the media, Congress, millions of Americans try to paint him as despite daily violating his oath, saying vile things, cursing, threatening Judges, profiteering off his high office, being credibly accused of horrific sex crimes against kids, destroying NATO alliances, embracing Putin, and attacking other nations without congressional approvals.

14 months. Let that sink in. Fourteen months of waking up every single morning to a man who has weaponized his own existence into a 24-hour megaphone of pure, unfiltered, industrial-grade noise. A man so constitutionally incapable of silence that the world has collectively forgotten what a quiet Tuesday feels like. And here is the truly spectacular part. We have nearly three full years left. Three years. Not three weeks. Not three months. Three years before a cup of coffee is just a cup of coffee again. Before the birds outside your window are the loudest thing happening. Before some poor weather presenter gets to be the most alarming thing on television. Before diplomats can go back to being magnificently boring in very expensive suits. Three years before the sky stops looking like this. The painting, at least, has the decency not to make a sound. The man does not share that quality. He has never once, in his entire adult life, looked at a room and thought: you know what this needs? Less of me. And so here we are. Inside the painting. All of us. Waiting. Hold on. Trump right now in his live address: "We're going to hit [Iran] extremely hard over the next 2 to 3 weeks, we're going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong." Pure savagery. And textbook genocidal: saying the Iranian people "belong" in the stone ages means he's targeting them as a people, which is the definition of genocidal intent. That's where letting Gaza happen without consequences gets you... Also pretty ironical to call others primitive while sounding like a barbarian king on bath salts.

Flooding the zone with shit. And more. Took lessons from Goebel s. The more lies you tell the more people believe it.
Saleh Algubwani (صالح الجبواني)@AlgubwaniSaleh
