So, I'm watching CW Flash, season 6. After Crisis, all the infinite Earths merge. Nash Wells starts seeing visions of all his doppelgangers, including Eobard Thawne, but Thawne is NOT a doppelganger of Harrison Wells. Thawne is an imposter who wears Wells's face, but he is NOT him. It makes no sense. #TheFlash

An American beta-reader criticized my 18-year-old character drinking beer because they assumed it should not be allowed, despite it being high fantasy set in a fictional & historical world. Also drinking age (beer, wine) in Germany is 16. Not every place is the US!🤦‍♀️

I saw a post the other day about whether or not heaven is real. Here are my two cents: To me heaven is not a place, it is a state of being. The path to enlightenment is not a physical one. It's an internal journey to expand your consciousness beyond your physical body. No, I am not a Christian, but you can hear Christ's hints to this In many of his teachings. When he says you have to give up everything for enlightenment it isn't that loved ones and fortune are bad but they keep you focused on the external physical world. They are distractions that ultimately get in the way of achieving enlightenment. By that same notion hell is also not a physical place but the loss of your soul at the moment of death. You cease to exist. Enlightenment is a journey to strengthen your conscious mind so it can thrive beyond the body and exist after death.

@douglass_meghan Possible? Yes, but it is difficult to create something entirely new because we are the products of what's around us.

Do you think it’s possible to write new fairytales that will one day be as widely known and loved as the classics are now?

@realPeterCrerar I look up words all the time, but I do agree that plain speech is generally better than fancy big words.

If I have to look up the word, I won't use it in my story.

As a teacher, it feels wrong to impose religion onto students. So, the attempt to make this into law doesn't make sense. Knocking it down was the right thing to do. Schools need to remain neutral. Leave it up to the families to choose their faith.

I'm having an ocular migraine. I can't really read right now because it affects my center vision. They used to put me down for an hour. Now they are just annoying. I'm fictional and not dizzy. Just one eye is partially blind and full of sparkly rainbows. Anyone else get these?

You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything. Everything is a subscription service, like literally everything. You can't buy Microsoft Office, you have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?
