@Brunet14Mario Great. And he spent over 600 hours trying to learn the language. But, the point I have been continually making is that it is not mandated in policy or any legislation that the CEO MUST be bilingual. The only requirements revolve around service delivery in both official languages.

The last time I checked, English is still one of the official languages in Canada. How can anyone be punished for speaking an official language? Or is the PM just bending a knee to the petulant, whining, pissing and moaning politicians in Quebec?

@ezralevant When Air Canada was privatized it was agreed in the transfer that it would stay subject to the federal bilingual laws. Rousseau promised to learn French but never did.

Understand what this means. They will fire a world-class CEO because he's not perfectly bilingual -- despite 600 hours of taking French classes. If they would do that to him, imagine what they would do to you. I'm talking to you, Alberta.

Le diesel tourne autour de 1,85 $ en Alberta… ici, on approche souvent le 2,60 $ 😳 L’Alberta n’a pas de taxe provinciale, pas de bourse carbone comme au Québec, puis pourtant ils réussissent à garder un coût de la vie plus bas. À un moment donné, faut arrêter de toujours aller chercher plus d’argent dans les poches du monde.
