@_youngsage @DudespostingWs he did, when I was in 5th grade we all rode our bikes to school; No Teachers/Parents Allowed on our ride; but when I taught skateboard lessons for the City as an adult, I had mandatory helmets, although I didnt think it necessary

@DudespostingWs Could be wrong but I think he also incorporated a mandatory helmet policy. Never seen that many kids all wearing helmets

This teacher started a bike group to ride to school, and before long, nearly the entire elementary school now rides with him. Favorite teacher award goes to...

@DudespostingWs It is cool; but honestly a little lame, in 1995 we elementary students we rode our bikes to school, organized by us, the 5th graders; oh yea and nobody had a helmet on.

Grandma takes you to a baseball game and you accidentally unlock a core memory on live TV that’ll follow you for the rest of your life. Props to the guy in the hockey jersey for giving the kid the ball.

@DineshDSouza Yes, Haiti is a failed state because of its gangs and corrupt leadership, but we all know this post is inspired by your hatred of Black people, Space Hitler, not because you actually care. 🚮🚮🚮

If you say Haiti is a hellhole, the Left says: “How dare you say that? Haiti is a beautiful country!” If you say Haitian illegals need to go back home, the Left says: “How dare you say that? We would be sending them back to a life of misery, hardship and death!”

Paschen’s law: V_b = (B p d) / [ln(A p d) - ln(ln(1 + 1/γ))] Pull the plunger on a syringe next to a live Tesla coil and watch physics lose its mind. The instant pressure drops, that p d term collapses; breakdown voltage craters, the field ionizes the rarefied air, and violet plasma arcs flood inside the barrel like lightning bottled in glass. No more jumping to the needle. Just pure glowing discharge channels forming in vacuum. This is the exact reason vacuum tubes, neon signs, and Crookes tubes exist.

@AJamesMcCarthy @AriWeather This is a great explanation; I live in Colorado Springs, a major checkpoint for aircraft going across the country, your explanation is better; military aircraft produce more contrails, they are heavier and therefore have more power; the one aircraft has 4 engines and much bigger

Could also be different power levels producing varying amounts of heat and exhaust. Lower plane is probably climbing at close to full power while higher plane could be descending or at cruise. Humidity levels is just one part of it- I just thought I should point it out as sometimes you can see the contrails kick on and off with power level adjustments

This is actually a great teaching moment. You need high humidity in the atmosphere for contrails to form. Sometimes the humidity levels are drastically different a few thousand feet apart. These planes are at different altitudes

🚨 HOLY CRAP! The Iranian-flagged ship Touska, which the US military seized yesterday, was in-bound from China “loaded with dual-use chemicals used to manufacture ballistic missiles,” per WP US Marines are now searching 5,000 containers on board. No wonder they tried to run the blockade.
