@curtcavin Robin and I became friends at IU because his Southside friends lived on my dorm floor. Once he learned I was a buddy of Rick Mount, we became fast friends for life. He didn’t play golf but he enjoyed my occasional success. Great guy! Kent Frandsen

@chambleebrandel Even if you are correct, that is another reason to roll back and put some spin back in the ball. The game was never intended to reward just the one hits it the furthest. Shotmaking should be important also, but the modern ball and equipment incentivize swing speed too much.

Just a friendly reminder that only five guys carry the ball 300+ yards on the PGA Tour. Oh, and any increase in distance going forward, as has been the case for almost 20 years, is because of the athlete.

Exact same thing happened to my rented SUV in front of a famous restaurant near The Olympic Club. Stole my brief case and lap top but didn’t touch my golf clubs. Police did respond and commented “these guys don’t play golf.”
