New Houston poll: @KenPaxtonTX is up 3 points on John Cornyn in the GOP runoff. I feel it's higher. The establishment can dump money but can't stop what’s coming. Texas is DONE with the old guard. We’re fighting to send Paxton to Washington and we’re not backing down.

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach. The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 27, 2026 Cornyn Campaign Statement on Republican Judge Rejecting AG Paxton’s Ridiculous Sweetheart Deal and Increasing Jail Time for Violent Criminal Perpetrator was Facing Life in Prison for Sexual Abuse of a Child, But AG Paxton Reduced the Charges AUSTIN, TX — Today, the Texans for Senator John Cornyn campaign issued a statement on the news that a Waco Judge Roy Sparkman, a Republican, rejected the plea deal for sexual predator Adam Hoffman offered by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.  Hoffman, a former Waco attorney, was facing life in prison without parole for sexual abuse of a child for three years, but AG Paxton initially offered a sweetheart plea deal for no additional jail time, which Judge Sparkman immediately rejected. AG Paxton’s second sweetheart deal offered just 30 days in prison and would not have required Hoffman to register as a sex offender. This egregious plea deal was also rightly rejected by the judge today, as KXXV reported: “A Waco judge rejected the plea deal for a former local attorney convicted of child sex abuse, doubling the amount of jail time he must serve. Judge [Roy] Sparkman handed down his decision Monday morning during sentencing for Adam Hoffman, who was originally charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. He had been facing up to life in prison without parole on the original charges.” “The judge in this case has now rejected two of Attorney General Ken Paxton’s sweetheart plea deals for a person who sexually abused a child for three years. The judge had the good sense to double the jail time proposed by AG Paxton. We would hope the judge also requires registry as a sex offender, which AG Paxton also did not require. Instead of being alarmed that 10% of @KenPaxtonTX's money comes from @IlhanMN's key supporter, @ScottPresler is trying to change the subject. Anyone running as a Republican that gets 10% of their funding from radical liberals is RINO and cannot be the GOP nominee.

I think we should find out how that $100 million was spent for Cornyn’s Texas primary & which consultants benefited from that massive amount of wasted cash which could have built voter registration operations in every swing state.

I hate to say “I told ya so,” but I did. For years. Now everyone’s eyes are open. What is it they say about the one eyed man..? So…Tucker’s latest idea of America First is:   Kamala is president. Iran has nuclear ballistic missiles. Russia dictates the global order.   He has never met a US adversary he won’t defend. Tucker is not loyal to anything but his bank account. And shame on the people giving him the engagement and views he needs to keep the grift going. For God’s sake stop pretending that “doing your own research” means regurgitating podcast bros and Tucker and Candace. This amazing American experiment only survives if the People want it to. Civic duty isn’t just participating, it is participating with thoughtful intention and critical thinking. I wont stop fighting. I’m glad so many others are finally awake and fighting alongside me now. But there are always first wave casualties, and I was one of them. So be it. Someone had to. Someone has to be the first to cross the beachhead. I will always rest easy knowing I fought back before it was popular.
