@TSN_Sports Difficult to stop your momentum when a player turns towards the boards at the last second. Tavares knew a hit was coming but Zadorov needs to be responsible. Tough call to make but I think the 5 min major but no he misconduct was actually the right call.

@GrumpaDotCA The Fowler-Dobes-Montembeault situation is eerily similar to the Price-Halak-Huet era. Price & Halak did quite well as a tandem. I think Dobes & Fowler are good enough to grow with the team...

@Bugsy1126 I wouldn't go for a #1 goalie. They don't need that. They need a veteran to pass along his knowledge. Fowler would benefit of one more season as the #1 in Laval, IMO.

Ideally this off-season, the #Habs trade Monty and acquire another veteran goalender to help Dobeš next year. This allows Fowler to continue his development down in Laval for one more year. The experience of a veteran who knows the league and opponents is invaluable. #GoHabsGo

@grantmccagg The downside to that is Hutson has been playing out of position. He isn't as productive on RD compared to LD. It is unfortunate that Hutson, Matheson & Guhle all have some difficulty on their off-side. What Struble is doing is moving ahead of Xhekaj for the 6-7D spot

Struble has been outstanding in the past five games. I suppose it helps when you get in the lineup on a regular basis for the first time this season.

@_JordanDecker He gets a fine so that Kean's he has already been warned... Looks like another guy who won't change his game. The refs don't like being made fools of, it'll catch up to him. Stutzle has a real hard time selling anything; he's getting manhandled on the regular with no calls, lol

I have absolutely no problem with the fine here. Set a precedent. That being said, Stutzle does this (or worse) like 150 times a season. Dude should be fined almost nightly 😂

@HabsLaughs KK has fallen far from his high horse... You can say that his confidence is rattled for sure. Brind'Amour is a demanding head coach. KK was given too much, too early and seems his ego swelled. I like how this backfired for Dundon, putting $$ into a player that is doing squat.

@92In82 Lindros was a bigger version of Iginla. He was a beast that unfortunately didn't learn to play with his head up. He was always so much bigger than his peers. In the NHL, there were guys that were not as tall as him but definitely much stronger and a whole lot meaner!

Nothing against Jarome Iginla, but Eric Lindros before the concussions was an exceptionally rare breed of player with a top-10 of all-time trajectory. This isn’t close for me.

@HabsDepression The Habs lost about 6-8 points because of shitty goaltending. If they had those points, they wouldn't be in a tight race. It's not the vets on the team, #35 can be blamed for 4-6 of those lost points

The Habs have the.... Selke Favourite #2 in the Rocket Richard race Top 3 Norris finalist 2 players in the top 10 for the Hart race Top 3 for the Calder But they are struggling for a playoff spot. Its almost like our Vets are useless and need to be replaced with replacement level players. Fuck this Veteran leadership BS when they only thing they show young players is what NOT to do on the ice.
