Just rolled out v1.3 for BlazingFastTranscription.com ⚡
- Double-tap fn to switch between always-on and manual mode (good for switching between claude code always listening sessions and normal hold fn to chat flow)
- Sticky recording. Text delivers to the app you started in, even if you switch windows
- Created a welcome window to explain the 2 modes and better handle downloading local model
- 7-day free trial, no sign-up
- Launched monthly pricing at $7 / $5
If you've downloaded it, check for updates. You might need to enable permissions/try twice. Worse case just redownload the dmg 🤠
Plenty more ideas and improvement in the backlog. Bosh

@Scobleizer worth giving @VoicyApp a try - costs less than typeless and comes with custom commands and some other neat AI stuff

Why is talking faster than typing? Why not use AI's voice mode and why has a little utility greatly sped up my productivity?
First, I type about 100 words a minute. The best class I took in college was typing. I use that skill every day, while I rarely use anything that was far harder to learn like chemistry or calculus. But I've found that talking to my computer is way faster.
One reason is because I'm constantly switching back and forth.
X's DMs. Calendar. Gmail. Grok. ChatGPT. Agents running in Perplexity's Comet or other browsers I'm using. Back and forth. Looking for audio capabilities slows me down. Now all I do is push the FN key on my Macintosh's keyboard and it writes for me wherever my cursor is. On longer sessions I can double click and it'll just listen. Great for vibe coding or giving AIs longer prompts. And it fixes my mistakes as I talk. Removes "ums" and "ahs" and restarts and puts them into good language. I wrote this with Typeless.
Why not use Apple's own transcription? I find that Typeless does better with punctuation and fixing my mistakes. The AI underneath Typeless just works better.
Very easy to setup, I was working within a minute or two. Highly recommended. Start here: typeless.com

Yesterday I had an a-ha moment. Claude suggested a product to me out of the blue. I didn’t ask for it. I wasn’t searching for it. But it thought it made sense for what I was doing so it recommended I give it a try.
We all talk about AI search but from a marketing perspective this made me realize how these tools can do much more than just fulfill existing demand. They can also let unaware people discover your product right when they need it.

@alexchristou_ The real secret is to find tasks that truly don’t require any human intervention at all.
Honestly I’m yet to find something super meaningful that doesn’t require me at least at some point

Doing some ai tinkering today setting up OpenClaw on an old MBP
What’s the current best way to compute max / agent max?
As in: how are you running agents continuously without being the human bottleneck? What's the meta
Wonder if I could do something with Conductor automations which would mean new worktrees and plans can chug away on projects and I can review down the line

@_baretto Thanks for giving me a seat on this rocketship❤️

@_baretto The most impressive thing is the growth rate!

@BuildingWaves Built something like lastpass but for developers and qa testers to manage test accounts for their projects. Been a pain point for me so finally made some time to address it. It is a chrome extension btw.
English

Took a page out of @BuildingWaves book and decided to build my own chrome extension. Working on testing it out but would be cool to showcase itnsoon

@alexchristou_ Run this in your terminal:
openclaw onboard
From there you can then set up your claude token
