German Chancellor appeals to Iran to end the war! This is beyond absurd: demanding that Iran — the victim of an ongoing unprovoked aggression — somehow bring the conflict to an end. Why not direct your calls instead to the ruthless aggressors responsible for bombing and killing Iranians? Why not demand that the #UnitedStates/#Israel be held accountable for its brutal aggression and abhorrent crimes?

@DeItaone EU should stay the hell away from this mess. Find a f-king peacedeal with Russia, restore ties, buy their cheap oil and gas and have current leadership resign so new blood can come in and secure a good future. Out with Kallas, Von Der Leyen and the other rats.

@RapidResponse47 @PressSec Doesn’t look like Iran has been trapping down a bit tbh. Down 95% sounds like “trust me bro” numbers. Which it probably are, as this administration seems to do nothing but lie.

Bro you been changing direction yourself like 4 times the last couple of weeks with buying longs, selling longs, buying longs, selling longs. You been calling things wrong the last couple of months and changing opinion out of fear every second day markets have swinged. You are in no position to take the high ground around anything right now. But yes, metals will go aggressively higher after the war calms down. But doesn’t look like it’s calming down. More downside ahead, potentially brutal downside still left.

6 weeks ago gold bugs were assuring me the fundamentals were different and there was no possible way metals could correct. Fast forward and those same bulls are now getting excessively pessimistic. They are starting to predict absurdly low prices into the future. This is what intermediate corrections do. They crush bullish sentiment. However the "fundamentals" haven't changed and probably improved. So it's about time to start buying again, and if you are already long it's time to control emotions and finish the job. Hold through the correction and the next leg up will be even more aggressive than the last one. The SMT is still open for new subscribers. Now is the time to join when we are close to a bottom and everyone else is getting negative, not after you've let 3 months of rally pass you by. smartmoneytrackerpremium.com

5 minutes ago, @karpathy just dropped karpathy/jobs! he scraped every job in the US economy (342 occupations from BLS), scored each one's AI exposure 0-10 using an LLM, and visualized it as a treemap. if your whole job happens on a screen you're cooked. average score across all jobs is 5.3/10. software devs: 8-9. roofers: 0-1. medical transcriptionists: 10/10 💀 karpathy.ai/jobs

Why you posting in Hebrew? France need new leadership, you should return to to your man and leave politics. If there is anything that should be done it is to create a peace army together with common sense countries like China and a few others and put boots on the ground between Israel Palestine and Lebanon and just keep them seperate until things calm down. Israel has to be stopped and the whole world should unite in making sure they are stopped.

Iran’s attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz is done at its own peril. President Trump’s decision to take the war to Kharg Island - the crown jewel of Iran’s oil and gas economy - was necessary, bold and in my view, highly effective. This will help shorten the war. Seldom in warfare does an enemy provide you a single target like Kharg Island that could dramatically alter the outcome of the conflict. If Iran loses control or the ability to operate its oil infrastructure from Kharg Island, its economy is annihilated. He who controls Kharg Island, controls the destiny of this war. Semper Fi.

Civilian deaths so far Iran: ~1,286 civilians Israel: 19 civilians United States: 0 civilians If I were Iran, I would issue a warning that for every Iranian civilian killed, they reserve the right to attack civilian areas to even out the score. That would put some pressure on the Israeli and American population to demand their goverments to stop. An eye for an eye?

I think Bibi may have been killed in an Iranian drone or missile strike. That could be the shocking news that Scott Bessent received when he was suddenly pulled from his interview mid-conversation. On top of that, Israel’s new leadership may have threatened the Trump administration that they would activate the Samson Option if the Trump admin doesn’t immediately greenlight a U.S. ground invasion of Iran. A ground invasion of Iran has always been one of the contingency options and has been planned in advance, if Trump gives the go-ahead. The "Samson Option" is the term used to describe Israel's alleged deterrence strategy of employing massive nuclear retaliation as a last resort if its military is defeated or the nation faces existential destruction. It is named after the biblical figure Samson, who brought down a temple, killing himself and his captors. All of the above explains why they couldn’t wait for a false flag attack in the continental U.S. (to gather public support) before they pushed the ground invasion of Iran announcement button.

JUST IN: The UAE just shut down every Iranian institution in Dubai. The hospital. The schools. The club. Every government-dispatched Iranian staff member has been ordered to leave the country immediately. The Iranian consulate has been told to reduce operations to local staff only. Iran International broke the story. The Iranian Hospital received Dubai Health Authority instructions to cease all activities within one month. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority revoked the licenses of at least five Iranian Community Schools, with students ordered to transfer by 16 March. The Iranian Club announced it will suspend all activities by 15 March, citing “current circumstances.” The circumstances are 1,540 drones and 293 ballistic missiles fired at the UAE in fourteen days. Six Emiratis and expatriates are dead. One hundred thirty-one are injured. Debris from interceptions has hit Dubai Creek Harbour, 23 Marina, the Palm Jumeirah Fairmont, the Burj Al Arab facade, Dubai International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, and the Ruwais Industrial Complex in Abu Dhabi. The UAE has spent between $1.3 and $2.6 billion on air defence in two weeks, thirteen times what Iran spent on the attacks. The safe haven that Dubai built over three decades is being eroded by fragments falling from a 94% interception rate, and the 6% that gets through produces fires on the evening news every night. The institutional closures are the diplomatic equivalent of what the insurance industry did on 5 March. The P&I clubs severed the financial relationship between Gulf shipping and global commerce. The UAE is now severing the social relationship between Iran and the Gulf’s largest commercial hub. The hospital that treated Iranian expatriates, the schools that educated their children, the club where the community gathered, all closed. Not because of what happened inside them but because of what is happening above them. There are approximately 400,000 to 500,000 Iranians living in the UAE. Many have been there for decades. They run businesses, own property, send their children to the schools that just lost their licenses, and receive care at the hospital that just received its shutdown notice. The closures do not target combatants. They target infrastructure of normalcy. The message is not subtle: if your government fires missiles at our towers, your community loses its hospital. The UAE closed its embassy in Tehran on 1 March, three days after the war began. It has now closed Iran’s institutional presence in Dubai. The diplomatic rupture is complete. No embassy. No consulate staff. No hospital. No schools. No club. Two countries that share a 33-kilometre waterway, $300 billion in Iranian assets on Emirati soil, and a fifty-year dispute over three islands that Iran seized in 1971 have reached the point where the only Iranian presence the UAE will tolerate is the drones it shoots down. This is what the war looks like when it reaches the ground floor. Not Marines or airstrikes, but a school principal telling parents their children must transfer by Monday. A hospital administrator telling patients their insurance is suspended. A community club posting a notice that says “due to current circumstances” because the current circumstances are ballistic missiles aimed at the city where the club stands. The towers burn from debris. The institutions close by letter. The community that built a life between two flags discovers that when those flags go to war, the life built between them is the first casualty that does not make the evening news.
