The "Canadian Jewish Labour Committee" is a CIJA front created a few years ago to fight against support in Canadian unions for the liberation of Palestine.

A disgraceful day at the CLC, with anti-Israel activists passing a symbolic resolution that accomplishes nothing (CLC has no formal relationship with Israeli labour). Jewish Canadians have been proud members of Canada’s labour movement since its inception, but actions like this leave Jewish members feeling unrepresented. Union leaders should focus on the crucial issues facing their rank and file members, rather than on extreme and meaningless motions like this that only serve to divide. If Bill C-22 passes, it allows any law enforcement agency to monitor your internet traffic, without a warrant. It essentially makes every Canadian a suspect, without probable cause or judicial oversight through warrants. It would breach Section 7, 8 and 11(d) at minimum.

Nearly 50,000 people in the Lake Tahoe area have been told that their utility will stop providing power to them, because it's redirecting that power to data centers.
NV Energy, the Nevada utility that has supplied most of Lake Tahoe’s electricity for decades, says that next year it will stop servicing homes in the area, and instead direct that electricity to the growing demand from Nevada data centers.

This is Jamie Gutfreund of @CP24, who has been a reporter, producer, studio manager and anchor for CP24 for almost 20 years
Jamie is active in the private Facebook group "Toronto Jewish Community on Alert" as a "Group Expert". The group regularly posts anti-Palestinian racist content and has had many violent Kahanist posts approved by moderators. The group is run by the revoked-charity leader of vigilante group Magen Herut, Aaron Hadida. One of its moderators ("Michelle Winterfell" aka Michelle Lipschitz) has doxxed, harassed and threatened pro-Palestinian activists many times.
Melissa Lantsman is also a member of the group, James Pasternak has also been a member and may not be now.
