If any good comes from these recent closures it's that the GAAS bubble has burst and Sony looks to be back on track for their single player games. They're even stopping mobile games, and of course no more PC ports.

It's very concerning to me, how many people on here can't read!! and are taking what I say COMPLETELY out of context. I have made it perfectly clear from the beginning that although I have a source that thinks GTA 6 is coming to Switch 2, I don't believe him at all. He has gotten various things right in the past, yes but he has also gotten quite a bit of stuff wrong, no other sources internally from Rockstar or people who are connected to Rockstar have verified his statements to me, the reason I made this bet with him in the first place is because I am 100% convinced he is full of crap. Secondly I am not flying to India for this bet, that would be absolutely insane lol. My in-laws live there, seeing him and getting a free lavish dinner and calling him out for his BS right to his face is just a bonus. I understand that GTA 6 on Switch 2 is an exciting prospect and I know many jaws would hit the floor if it happens but please actually read my tweets in there entirety before jumping the gun. This guy could be right yes but he could also just as well be way off the mark.

@BurrellKy21086 @SamWalton78 @GameRant IMO, I think each game has its own sales expectation, and the fact that this one was a lower budget title that got shadowdropped tells me Sony didn't have big expectations for it. If this were another traditional AAA entry, I'd agree with you though

With that game being a new entry in the best selling charts at 17, however, did it chart because of the ip or because the games are actually good? From what ive seen, those anime games are cheaply made, and stink

@nio4537 @SamWalton78 @GameRant To be fair, Capcom said RE9 sold 5 million in its 1st 5 days of release, but I don't know how much of that was by end of February. Still, other million sellers didn't chart, so if this lower quality/budget game sold 1/5 or 2/5 of that, that's pretty good [for what it is]

Circana chart ranks by money grossed for the month and as a game that launched halfway with no promo in it was a good result.

Again, no one is painting this is some ongoing hit, but Circana data shows it was one of the 15 highest grossing games for February alongside other notable titles.

They likely saw no chance of it as a commercial success and shadow-dropped it, but it still charted as a best-seller for February. Other titles in recent years, like Lego Horizon or Until Dawn Remake, never even made a blip
