It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered. You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day. This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm. The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone. A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time. Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans. We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all. Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

@TimothyImholt @TheSurvivalPodc Let’s not forget the replacement for the AWAC, the new mid air fueler, the M1 replacement tank that was going to start fielding next year but has not built a prototype yet. They get away with it over and over. Never held to standard.

The USS Enterprise is a year late and just announced a delay of 18 more months, pending additional funding. The F35 billions over budget

Again have they tried and failed to do anything on your list? Like one launch where they said we are going to ____ and ____ failed? Changing the entire way we do space travel takes time, the timeline is between the company and the customer. Move along from your Elon rage. Everyone that does it eats crow in the end.

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt March 2025. Starship was to launch, get sub orbital, do a flip then a soft landing in the ocean. Blew up going up. May 2025 was suppose to go to orbit launch a banana as cargo then land softly in the ocean. Did not make orbit, blew up causing airlines to divert to avoid debris.

They have not met any milestones on time or on budget. It’s not Musk, it’s the company. He just provides distraction

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt Original plan SpaceX was given $2.7 billion for in 2021 was to have orbital flight in 2022, cargo deployment in 2023, fuel transfer between starships in 2023/24, orbit moon in 2025 and landing on moon in 2026/27. They got another $1.2 billion in 2023 just after their first launch
