@ThrillaRilla369 I'm curious.. in what ways can they use AI to get rid of us?
English

@CynicalPublius @MLailer He just filed to run for Congress in 2028.
Does not sound like “splitting” anything.
Running in a primary is not splitting the party either.
English

He does not think he can win the Presidency.
But he does think he can split the GOP vote in 2028 and hand the Presidency to a Democrat.
And he will do it out of spite.
TMK@themagaking
Thomas Massie received just 47,539 votes in a losing cause in Kentucky, yet somehow believes he has a path to the presidency with JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Ron DeSantis in the Republican Party. His delusions of grandeur are off the charts.

It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered.
You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day.
This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm.
The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone.
A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time.
Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans.
We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all.
Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

A great thing?
Requiring every citizen to provide fingerprints and biometrics to access health care?
Nationalizing the private medical records of all citizens?
Blocking private doctors from access to hospitals and records?
And it looks like taxes will be going up 25-40%
Nancy Sinatra@NancySinatra
So the country of Mexico can afford to do this great thing for its people but the USA, the richest country in the world can't? Ot maybe the bum in the White House refuses to help We the People. WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?
English

@TimothyImholt @TheSurvivalPodc Let’s not forget the replacement for the AWAC, the new mid air fueler, the M1 replacement tank that was going to start fielding next year but has not built a prototype yet.
They get away with it over and over.
Never held to standard.
English

@BusyPoorDad @TheSurvivalPodc Does the same issue exist with any/every defense contract that is behind schedule or over budget?
English

@TimothyImholt @TheSurvivalPodc Yes!
The USS Kennedy is two years late, several billion over and has forced two air craft carriers to be extended beyond their planned life.
The USS Enterprise is a year late and just announced a delay of 18 more months, pending additional funding.
The F35 billions over budget
English

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt If this was not using tax money I would not care.
But they are using tax funds and going about changing the way we do space in a weird way.
There are reports SpaceX will be asking for more tax money in the next budget.
My issue is not musk it’s the tax money used
English

Again have they tried and failed to do anything on your list? Like one launch where they said we are going to ____ and ____ failed?
Changing the entire way we do space travel takes time, the timeline is between the company and the customer. Move along from your Elon rage.
Everyone that does it eats crow in the end.

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt March 2025. Starship was to launch, get sub orbital, do a flip then a soft landing in the ocean. Blew up going up.
May 2025 was suppose to go to orbit launch a banana as cargo then land softly in the ocean. Did not make orbit, blew up causing airlines to divert to avoid debris.
English

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt Five suffered “rapid unscheduled disassembly”.
The company says they were not failures because they learned something from them.
English

@BusyPoorDad @TimothyImholt Again have they had any attempts that failed?
The answer to that is BINARY and it is NO.
Every mission has been part of a development plan and has been a success. I don't even know what your attempt at an angle is here.
English

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt They have till mid 2027 to:
Place a starship in orbit, deploy cargo in orbit, place two in orbit, transfer fuel remotely between them, then link up with Artemis 3.
They have not met any milestones on time or on budget.
It’s not Musk, it’s the company. He just provides distraction
English

@BusyPoorDad @TimothyImholt I think you have some axe to grind with Elon and the sparks from the grinding wheel blinded you. You should wear eye protection I think. I mean fuck what the hell are you even on about here?
English

@TheSurvivalPodc @TimothyImholt Original plan SpaceX was given $2.7 billion for in 2021 was to have orbital flight in 2022, cargo deployment in 2023, fuel transfer between starships in 2023/24, orbit moon in 2025 and landing on moon in 2026/27.
They got another $1.2 billion in 2023 just after their first launch
