Two Nigerians k+lled in South Africa as xen+phobic tensions rise The Nigerian Consulate in Johannesburg has called for urgent investigations after two Nigerian nationals, Amaramiro Emmanuel and Ekpenyong Andrew, d+ed in separate incidents involving South African security operatives, raising renewed concerns over xen+phobic tensions and alleged ab¥se of power. According to the consulate, Emmanuel reportedly d+ed on April 20 after sustaining inj¥ries allegedly inflicted by personnel of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). The circumstances surrounding the as+ault remain unclear, but officials say the case has triggered alarm within the Nigerian community in South Africa. In a separate incident, Andrew was arrested on April 19 in the Booysens area of Pretoria following an alleged altercation with members of the Tshwane Metro Police. However, his d+ath was later confirmed after his body was discovered at the Pretoria Central Mortuary, prompting questions about what transpired after his arrest. The Nigerian Consul-General, Ninikanwa Okey-Uche, described both incidents as deeply disturbing, noting that they have left families, diplomats, and members of the Nigerian community in shock. She confirmed that formal cases have been opened with the South African Police Service and urged the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) to conduct a thorough, transparent, and impartial investigation. She stressed that regardless of any allegations, due legal process must be followed and that no individual should be denied a fair hearing or subjected to extrajudicial action. The consulate also warned against the growing tendency to stereotype or profile Nigerians as criminals, describing it as dangerous and unacceptable. Okey-Uche further called on Nigerians living in South Africa to remain calm, law-abiding, and cooperative while investigations continue, adding that the consulate is engaging relevant authorities and will ensure support for the bereaved families.

@AfricaFactsZone South Africans forget we can actually shut down MTN, ShopRite, Promasidor, Stanbic IBTC bank in one day. Or, Africans can choose to #BoycottMTN forever. Or, Nigeria should demand reparations for the $61bn loan given to SA to fight apartheid. And, Cut off diplomatic ties with SA.

Pray that day never comes, when an African activist educates a lot of other Africans bout the very large imbalance in South Africa intergovernmental trade dynamics with other African countries. Pray that never comes when Africans revolt out South African companies out of their countries, The South African top businesses in African countries is what makes up 42.8% of the SA total GDP. The fall of the South African economy lies on the less knowledge of many Africans in their country. You have South African top companies are overpopulated in the Nigerian economy, approx 146 top South African Co’s taking billion$ out our economy into theirs. While we have just less than 10 and it’s just 2 that are major companies. Even at this 2, the Dangote cement is just a joint venture with JSE listed Sephaku Holdings and then Access bank buying a non existent bank in SA Grobank. Nobody knows that bank even. Pray that day never comes, Africans be informed. Pray that day never comes, African revolt. The fall of South Africa is cheap and the reason their government never comply with their populist agitations advocating for the large scale deportation of Africans.
