"Good C code will beat Rust every time" Not at all 🤣 Rust has these thing called zero-cost abstractions, which means that just using the stdlib in the most obvious way will give you code that's just as fast and efficient as optimized-to-the-hilt C code or even handwritten Assembly. In other words, Zig is better than C and Rust is better than C++ for the same reason that C/++ are better than Assembly. People always think that reinventing the wheel is a good thing b/c of the hubristic delusion that their wheel is somehow better than the one that comes prebuilt; I guarantee you it's not. Just use Rust. Better yet, only use Rust when you really need to and just use JavaScript for most things. You're not "one of the elites" just b/c you don't use abstractions.
