I’m saying in literally any case, BC shouldn’t be used to solve these issues and it doesn’t really solve anything other than putting a bandaid on it while causing a ton of other issues down the road. So yes, your doctor didn’t do right by you. “Doing you right” would be analyzing your labs and figuring out the actual cause, fixing it with hormones your body already had naturally, and keeping you healthy… but that takes time and effort. Throwing you a BC prescription is faster and makes big pharma a lot more money. You don’t have to defend something you don’t understand. I’d just encourage you to look a little more into what you’re putting into your body instead of just thinking “no cramps = good”

Birth control doesn’t “fix” heavy cramps — it just suppresses symptoms while ignoring the actual cause…. which you don’t seem to understand. Severe periods can come from things like endometriosis, hormone issues, or fibroids, and shutting down natural hormone function isn’t a real solution, it usually just ends up screwing up your body even more. If they actually did lab work, they’d solve the root cause and not just throw you on some synthetic hormones that block natural hormones lol. It’s hilarious watching you get frustrated just because you don’t understand something. Take a breath.

Solving period cramps with birth controls is a terrible outdated idea pushed by big pharma that preys on the uneducated. Look into the reason why that happens, it’s usually an estradiol and progesterone imbalance. Getting bioidentical hormones to fix that isn’t hard, and way cheaper/healthier. Birth control is a bunch of synthetic crap you take that screws things up even more. Most doctors don’t even check hormone panels before prescribing, which says a lot. Retarded.
