It’s strange that a year into a pandemic, these things need to be said, but here goes: - Covid is real and serious - Masks and social distancing work - Lockdowns work, but come at great cost - PCR is a good test for Covid - Uncontrolled spread, even among the young, is v bad

@CASPERVENTER1 How others interpret the data is their business. To me, it’s clear: it’s not ready for prime time, and the most recent data looks very unpromising. Even Merck (the manufacturer) agrees.

- No good evidence that HCQ, ivermectin, vitamin D, zinc, or azithromycin work - The vaccines work brilliantly - Steroids work - Scientists are amazing - We won’t forget those who undermined the fight - Most people have done their best in ridiculously tough circumstances
