Black men and Black children deserve to grow old. Nolan Wells should be alive today. My heart breaks for his family and loved ones, and I support their calls for an independent investigation.

Another person is killed after an encounter with ICE. Somewhere along the way, we stopped seeing our neighbors as people deserving of dignity and compassion. We cannot let this become who we are.

Trump refused to sign my provision to ban private equity from mass purchasing homes. It became law anyways. This is a HUGE win.

This is what it looks like to fight for the American Dream. Sen. Reverend Raphael Warnock's provision banning private equity from mass purchasing single family homes is now law. Corporate investors have controlled the housing market for too long, buying up starter homes and locking families out. Warnock's bill puts strict limits on that, backed by real financial penalties. Georgia families deserve a fair shot at homeownership.

Less than a month after declaring victory on this unnecessary war that the President started, we're back to blockades and strikes on Iran. This President started this war without a strategy and has no strategy to end it. Gas prices are climbing, and Americans are paying the price.

Instead of upholding the Constitution and representing ALL Americans, Republicans in Congress keep doubling down on hate and Islamophobia. Trump sold Americans a dream just to earn their votes, with no intention of keeping his promises. The American people deserve a leader who tells the truth, not a liar or a master manipulator.

Maine Resident: This is horrible. The citizens of this country are literally being gunned down in the street for doing nothing, for the color of their skin.

DOGE promised efficiency. Instead, they laid off thousands of dedicated public servants only to turn around and rehire many of them. Russ Vought and Elon Musk slashed through our civil service with a dagger leaving workers, families, and agencies to deal with the consequences. That’s not rightsizing the federal workforce. That’s a “dynamic” waste of taxpayer dollars.

JUST IN: Joe Neguse has won the Democratic primary in Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District. Now let’s send him back to Congress.

NEW: The Supreme Court has upheld birthright citizenship, blocking Trump’s campaign to dismantle the 14th Amendment and its protections for the children of immigrants. The Constitution is clear: If you were born here, you are an American citizen. No one can change this fact.

Trump just defunded the New York office that reclaimed $627M from actual fraud — an office his own administration praised for leading the nation in anti-fraud work! You can't slash Medicaid funding for the neediest among us AND defund the people truly fighting fraud while claiming to champion "government efficiency." Hypocrisy of the highest order.

Pride began with people who refused to be erased from history. Decades later, the LGBTQ+ community's courage lights the way. Though June ends, the fight carries on. To everyone who lives, loves, and leads as their full self: thank you for making this country freer for us all.

If you were born in the United States, you are an American citizen. Donald Trump tried to undermine that constitutional guarantee, but even his right-wing Supreme Court made clear that the 14th Amendment is not up for debate. 
I welcome this decision and will keep fighting to protect the rights and freedoms that belong to every American.
