People are calling me crazy for claiming Land Acknowledgments are a psychological operation to get our children to bow down to the First Nations. Now we understand that the entire plan is to strip Canadians of their land and resources. Then apologize daily. They are demoralizing an entire generation of children (and adults).

@MawdaDawda @ShareawareCdn Teachers will be fired if they say anything. Jim McMurtry was fired. I was expelled from an event for standing up against an acknowlegement . Some parents are standing up and it is going through the courts.

As a parent I hear the land acknowledgements firsthand after dropping my kid off late during the announcements. Every parent, drop your kid off late and just listen. Most parents have no idea. When I asked the principal about it she said it was about reconciliation. When I pushed back and called it what it is, indoctrination of children, her response was that it's not her job to question policy handed down from the board. Nobody in that building is questioning it. Neither parents nor teachers are standing up against the polictical indoctrination of kids.

@ShareawareCdn When this apology thing became the politically correct thing to do here in my tiny rural town, I quit attending. I refuse to go to any meeting or event that starts out with this. I will not take part. I can still go to events at the local pub and restaurants, so far.

@ShareawareCdn Every single day.. before prayer and 0’ Canada before announcements and before the start of class, kids are forced to listen to land acknowledgements. This starts in JK and continues through grade 12. In some instances the teachers insist on kids reciting it.

A warning to our followers to beware of Roma Gypsy scammers in Edmonton (and around Alberta for that matter). These people come up and act like they’re in a tough situation, doing whatever they have to do to scam you. Sometimes they’ll hug you while crying, put on a sob story, and swap out your jewellery for fake pieces without you noticing. We have received countless reports of these people attempting this, and they all scatter once they see a camera. They also target elderly people who don’t know what’s happening and might fall victim. If you see this happening, don’t fall for it. Record it and send it to us and we’ll put them on blast every time. Completely pathetic. Please share and stay aware!
