DO NOT WEEP …But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” Revelation 5:5 The beauty is this: Our Lord Jesus Christ has already done it for us. Our comfort is rooted in a completed victory and finished work, not guesswork, not uncertainty. Blessed Sabbath ~nc #Godisinit

IGNITING THE INDEPENDENCE PROMISE- ZIMBABWE @46 CAB3 is a grave assault and attack on the Independence Promise. The Independence Promise was a promise of freedom. A promise of one man, one vote. A promise of dignity and sovereignty. A promise of justice. A promise of peace. A promise of tolerance. A promise of unity and oneness. A promise of success for the African citizen. A promise of opportunity for young people. A promise of dignity in retirement and social security. A promise of better education, better health care and social services. A promise of good government and good governance upon inclusive national processes and self-determination. A promise of hope. That is the PROMISE, and that PROMISE has been BROKEN. We are now notorious in the negatives. We consistently hit the lowest benchmarks and score highly in the negatives. We are more divided than ever before. We are more apart than ever before. We are poorer than ever before. We are the more depressed people than ever before. We are more oppressed people than ever before. We are the more disappointed people than ever before. We are more disillusioned people than ever before. WE, THE CITIZENS, reiterate that only a political and constitutional settlement that gives birth to a citizen- and nation-centred government, anchored by credible national processes and outcomes, is the credible pathway towards the restoration of the Independence Promise—the road from the Independence Promise into true transformation. Let this be our charge to history: that we did not inherit a broken promise and accept it, but that we rose, united in purpose, to restore it. This is our duty. This is our moment. Let us ride in UNITY and PURPOSE to fulfill the liberation promise, that transformation promise. ~nc #RestoreThePromise #NotYetUhuru

This Independence Day, we WEAR BLACK to mourn those who died for the cause #OneManOneVote; to resist those who wish to entrench rule by the few over the many; and to stand in solidarity with all those in prison for standing up for the dignity of all. Join us! 🖤❤️💛💚

Zim Fuel Still Expensive Despite Strait of Hormuz Reopening The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a slight reduction in fuel prices following the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, but costs remain high for consumers. Diesel now sells at $2.09 per litre, down from $2.11, while petrol has dropped to $2.08 per litre from $2.23. The adjustment comes after Iran reopened the Strait of Hormuz, which had been disrupted by Israeli and US strikes. The strait is the world’s most critical maritime oil chokepoint, linking the Persian Gulf to the open ocean. Roughly 20%–25% of global seaborne oil and 20% of liquefied natural gas (LNG) pass through it daily, serving as the sole outlet for many Middle Eastern exporters. Despite the reopening, Zimbabwean motorists continue to face some of the highest fuel prices in the region.

🔸Where is the authentic @PoliceZimbabwe statement concerning the robbery that happened to @DougColtart? It was caught on camera so it should be fairly simple to investigate. Please advise what steps have been taken to apprehend those who stole his phone and assaulted him? Or will the Police Service look aside because of the people involved? Please give us an update in the public interest. We need new leaders.🇿🇼
Zimbabwe Republic Police@PoliceZimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) advises the public that it has not issued any statement regarding the alleged assault of Douglas Coltart. The message circulating on social media is therefore false and misleading. The police confirm that a report of the alleged assault has been received and investigations are currently underway. The ZRP remains committed to maintaining law and order and will provide updates through official platforms.

🔸A huge thank you to @KoketsoSachane for hosting this interview on the proposed Constitutional Amendments that seek to re-introduce a Mugabe-style imperial presidency with extended terms of office, less checks and balances against abuse and wiser presidential power to appoint judges and the Prosecutor-General. This undermines the spirit of the 2013 Constitution which was people-driven and the result of 4 years of consultation and a referendum. Zanu PF has no respect for the will of the people. They want to stay in power longer so that they can loot more. The country is on its knees. It’s a shame. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

🔸Speaking to @SABCNews yesterday, it was important to highlight that the main reason Zimbabweans are opposed to the proposed constitutional amendments is the insidious attempt to re-introduce the Mugabe clauses. We enacted a new Constitution in 2013 to ensure that presidential terms are expressly limited so that no president can stay in power indefinitely. Fast forward to 2026, @ZANUPF_Official wants to take us back to a place where we have an imperial presidency who has vast power, is not voted for by the people and who has extensive control over the judiciary and other key levers of the State. This is not acceptable. #NoTo2030 We need new leaders.🇿🇼

Thank you so much for all the love, solidarity and prayers. I am very well this morning! A little sore from the bruises and abrasions but more fired up to fearlessly serve the God who stands with the oppressed than before. (And chuffed with my stylish new glasses accessory!😂😂)

This is unacceptable! Zimbabwe has a bigger and deeper problem. Violence is an abomination. Why is this being allowed? Fellow Citizens, this marks the beginning of a new struggle! Enough is enough! This must bring all of us who believe in a free, open and peaceful Zimbabwe together! #OnePeople

🔸So why are you afraid of a referendum? Take it to a vote to prove the Bill has widespread support. Hearing the views of 30 hired guns cannot be a proper expression of the will of the people? Why are others being abducted for challenging the Bill? We need new leaders.🇿🇼

#CAB3 has been resoundingly given a thumbs up in Bulawayo, the heart of the opposition, as reports indicate that the majority of attendees raised points in support while a few disagreed. Of the 39 people who contributed 32 supported while only 7 opposed. The Bill indeed has commendable ideas which anyone refraining from the poison of political polarity or factionalism will support. Unfortunately many recycle copied arguments without investing in personal interactions with these documents. Even more, social media doesn't attend these hearings! What I'm proud of is that there have been no reports of violence. That is commendable and a manifest show of our matured democracy as a country. For now, Zanu PF 1- 0 Social Media. #CAB3 Bhoo! 2030, VaMnangagwa neZanu PF vanenge vachitonga!
