We are now back in the Mugabe era. At least Mugabe wouldn’t beat his opponents for holding meetings, and he wouldn’t amend the constitution without going to a referendum, as provided for in the constitution. We condemn the brutality and lawlessness behavior that we are experiencing since 2017.

IN TIMES of oppression and dictatorship, the civic duty and patriotic act of progressive students, journalists, intellectuals, and professionals becomes greater, not smaller. 1. Debate issues, not personalities.
2. Speak truth to power.
3. Defend the interests of the citizens.
4. Preserve facts, truth, and professional integrity.
5. Refuse trinkets, bribes, and complicity.
6. Encourage citizens courage, not fear.
7. Expose injustice without hatred or prejudice.
8. Encourage not discourage or demonize the symbols of the struggle.
9. Stand firmly on the side of freedom, dignity, and the citizens. What else do you add ?

Regional Lawyers body, the SADC-Lawyers Association, has issued the attached statement following the reported assault on Professor Lovemore Madhuku

Such intellectual dishonesty is baffling! Is he a lawyer? As someone who was at the centre of the Constitution making process Mangwana can surely do better! Section 328 does not say term limit provisions are those provisions that seek to “add” a term! It says term limit provisions seek to “lengthen” one’s term. Robert Mugabe of the 1st Dispensation would not even allow doing away with the elections, Supa Mandiwandizira tried to push the idea from a business persepctive but former president insisted that democracy and constitutionalism demand that we respect national elections.

I asked the Deputy President what @PresidencyZA would do about Zimbabwe? There is an evil man trying to cling on to power named @edmnangagwa. If we do nothing about the crisis of in Zimbabwe we will continue to drown in the costs of failed democracy in Zimbabwe as South Africa.

Imagine a government that collects billions in taxes, daily toll fees and revenue from some of the busiest border posts in Africa yet is outperformed by a single private citizen who builds his own stadium — Chahwanda Stadium in Kwekwe. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s national football teams have no approved home ground and are forced to play their home and away matches in neighbouring countries. At the same time, authorities prioritise launching new tournaments without first ensuring the availability of FIFA-standard facilities. This reflects misplaced priorities and a failure to align national resources with strategic development goals.

Over the next few weeks, we are going to turn on a lot of things and reclaim the spaces that we had vacated. We cannot just watch as the Satanic regime violates us like this.

“Vaya vangavachitaimira ma wards evamwe masvava” This is Owen “Mudha” Ncube, a ZANU PF minister for the Midlands province. In this video, he says the constitutional amendment bill has nothing to do with the people of Zimbabwe, but instead benefits a few ZANU PF elites, including councillors, mayors, MPs, and the President, whom he claims should continue exploiting state resources while ordinary citizens suffer.

Today I celebrate another year of life and purpose. I am deeply grateful to God for His grace, and to my family, friends, mentors, comrades, and fellow countrymen who have stood with us throughout this journey. Each passing year strengthens my conviction that life is not merely to be lived, but to be invested in service of something greater than oneself. As I grow older, I become more certain that leadership is nothing more and nothing less than faithful service to a collective struggle of which we are all part, and the steady work of building a future worthy of our effort, sacrifice, and belief. A MEMO TO Morgan Tsvangirai Dear Save, Pakuru, as they were determined against you, so they are against me—and against all of us. But they have grown more rabid, more brazen, and entirely rogue. As you know, they beat us, falsely accused us, wrongfully imprisoned us, vilified and demonized us. We remain banned from ZBC television and radio. We are shut out of The Herald, The Chronicle, The Sunday Mail, and The Sunday News. We are treated as prohibited persons in our own country. They continue to rig elections, enforce command voting, and unleash violence in rural communities. Food remains a political weapon. Citizens are punished for holding different views. A young man, Madzibaba Veshanduko, sits in prison because of his politics. They have hired and funded trolls to spread lies and misinformation, seeking to tarnish my name. Their machinery of propaganda is well-resourced and relentless. They have paid some among us to sow division and undermine leadership. Millions have been poured into bribery and manipulation—more, it seems, than is allocated to health or education. Through lawfare, they seized the party we founded together. They took the headquarters, the provincial offices, and the party’s finances. Now they scheme to abuse the courts yet again, to harass and humiliate me personally. As in your time, they single out individuals they fear most. They prefer a compliant, false opposition. They recalled and punished Members of Parliament and councillors they deemed truly committed to the cause. Each time I go out to meet with the citizens, it’s difficult, it’s painful and it’s a sacrifice. When I went out for a citizens outreach into the rural areas, and across the country, I had a Todii’s time. There have been repeated attempts on my life—near-fatal incidents in Mutare, Nyanga, Nemanwa, and at the Chivi turnoff; narrow escapes in Chiredzi and Zaka; and the Hurungwe assassination plot I survived. In Binga, I walked for kilometres to evade militia roadblocks. In Guruve, I rode a motorbike to slip past barricades. In Zaka, I lay hidden in the boot of a car while they sang Chimurenga songs at their checkpoints. Now they go further still—seeking to shred what remains of the Constitution. They propose to end the direct election of the President, to unlawfully extend terms, and to impose unilateral, anti-citizen electoral changes. At the very least, even Robert Mugabe would submit fundamental changes to a referendum. This leadership appears determined to avoid the people altogether. As we did before, we will not compromise away the will of the citizens. As you taught us: even if persecuted, never retaliate in hatred; never betray the people. Hatiputsi Sungano. Tiri pachirangano. I may not have a party, party headquarters, or party colours. But we have the citizens on our side. We have history on our side . We have Africa on our side. We have the solidarity of the oppressed around the world on our side. And above all, we have faith.And God is in it. Change will come. Victory is certain. Zimbabwe will be transformed country.
