An excellent commentary by @picardonhealth today. It will cause a ruckus in some quarters - but it shouldn't. He's right. Personal beliefs on vaccination do not supersede the public good (The Globe and Mail (Alberta Edition)), Apr 22, 2025

Ontario’s measles outbreak is now at eight hundred and sixteen cases. 816 38% of the adults who contracted measles were immunized. This shouldn’t be happening. Is anyone going to connect the dots? publichealthontario.ca/-/media/Docume…

Great story about the benefits of robotic surgery & the opportunities for it in Canada. “The real huge impact is the early post-operative recovery compared to patients undergoing conventional surgery, and also can return way faster to routine activity" globalnews.ca/news/11121188/…

There are many tools for effective teambuilding. One I use often when working with teams is called a "Manual of Me" or a "Personal User Manual". If we want to get the best performance from an appliance or equipment, we might consult a user manual & whilst people are more complex, the same the same principle appears to work. We ask team members to each fill in a big paper template about their needs & preferences. It helps us to communicate to others the conditions we need to do our best work. Evidence suggests it can accelerate trust, understanding & the valuing of difference in teams. There are many different templates & headings you can use. I use the version in the graphic below from @CassieRobinson.
