BREAKING: DHS tells @FoxNews that this viral incident at SFO airport last night involved ICE arrests of a family Guatemalan illegal immigrants who have had a deportation order since 2019, and one of the females tried to flee while being escorted for processing. Happened before ICE was deployed to help TSA. DHS statement to FOX: “This arrest occurred BEFORE ICE officers were even deployed to airports to bolster TSA efforts to help American travelers who are facing hours long lines across the country.   “On March 22, 2026, ICE officers arrested Angelina Lopez-Jimenez and Wendy Godinez-Lopez at the San Francisco International Airport. The family has an outstanding final removal order of removal from an immigration judge since 2019.   “While being escorted to the international terminal for processing, Lopez-Jimenez attempted to flee and resisted law enforcement officers. ICE is working as quickly as possible to repatriate the family unit to their home country of Guatemala."

Why can Fetterman understand this and the rest of his party ignore it?

As a father, I grieve for Sheridan’s parents for this unspeakable tragedy. This was a failure of not holding criminal migrants accountable and not protecting the public—and another tragic reason why I was the Dem lead on the Laken Riley law.

ICE is not at airports to help TSA and reduce lines. They are there (without identification) trying to arrest people, exactly as I predicted. ICE must be abolished.

Saying ICE are untrained to handle this is like saying a surgeon cannot perform first aid! This mayor offers zero solutions just nonsense as expected!

414 criminal illegal immigrant child sex offenders arrested by @EROHouston under President Trump— That’s nearly double the number arrested during the last year of the Biden administration when ICE Houston arrested 211. DHS says the arrested criminal illegal aliens accounted for 761 child sex offenses and 525 other criminal offenses ranging from homicide to robbery.  Those arrested include: 35y/o Alex Samuel Lara Diaz, a previously deported criminal illegal immigrant from Honduras, arrested by ICE Oct. 29, 2025, who was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a minor. He is also wanted in Honduras for homicide. ICE officers deported Lara Diaz to Honduras on Dec. 13, 2025, and he was turned over to Honduran authorities to be prosecuted for homicide.  25y/o Gabriel Julio Lopez-Velasquez from Mexico, arrested by ICE April 8, 2025, who has illegally entered the U.S. four times and been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a minor, aggravated assault and illegal entry, and twice for felony illegal reentry. ICE officers deported Lopez-Velazquez to Mexico on April 10, 2025.  48y/o Juan Leonardo Garcia Ibarra from Mexico, arrested by ICE April 4, 2025, who has illegally reentered the U.S. 12 times and been convicted of sexual indecency with a child, aggravated assault, cruelty toward a child, DWI and felony illegal reentry, and three times for illegal entry. ICE officers deported Garcia to Mexico on April 7, 2025.  49y/o Javier Perez-Garcia from Mexico, arrested by ICE Sept. 22, 2025, who has illegally entered the U.S. two times and been convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual indecency with a minor, hit-and-run and damaging property, and twice for DWI and assault. ICE officers deported Perez-Garcia to Mexico on Sept. 24, 2025.  32y/o Milton Alexander Magana Fuentes from El Salvador, arrested by ICE July 2, 2025, who has illegally entered the U.S. four times and been convicted of sexual indecency with a minor and failure to register as a sex offender, and twice for illegal reentry. ICE officers deported Magana to Mexico on July 25, 2025.  52y/o Luis Mario Monsalve Chaux from Colombia, arrested by ICE Sept. 12, 2025, who has been convicted once each of possessing child sexual abuse material and possessing burglary tools, four times for burglary, and twice for larceny. Monsalve remains in ICE custody pending disposition of his immigration proceedings.  43y/o Armando Vasquez-Gonzalez, a twice-deported criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico, arrested by ICE Sept. 18, 2025, who has been convicted of sexual indecency with a minor, drug trafficking, assault and felony illegal reentry, and four times for DWI. ICE officers deported Vasquez to Mexico on Sept. 19, 2025.  38y/o Andrew Mark Watson from the United Kingdom, arrested by ICE Dec. 5, 2025, who has been convicted of two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and sexually exploiting a minor.Watson remains in ICE custody at the IAH Secure Adult Detention Facility in Livingston pending disposition of his immigration proceedings.  68y/o Jesus Gutierrez Mireles, a three-time deported criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico, arrested by ICE March 28, 2025, who has been convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and DWI. ICE removed Gutierrez Mireles to Mexico on April 4, 2025.  41y/o Jose Guadalupe Meza, a four-time deported criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico who was arrested June 24 and has been convicted of theft and sexual assault of a child. ICE removed Guadalupe Meza to Mexico June 25.   DHS says federal law enforcement agencies that assisted ICE Houston included the Houston offices of the FBI, the ATF, the DEA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Diplomatic Security Service and the U.S. Marshals Service. Republicans are shutting down the government because of three basic demands to rein in ICE: - Unmask ICE Agents. - Follow the 4th Amendment to the Constitution, which requires a judicial warrant to search a home. - End roving patrols that demand people present citizenship paperwork. @HouseGOP should explain which of these basic asks to protect the American people is so extreme it justifies a government shutdown.
