@behrozsaadat Only 7.8% of Canadians are business owners.

It’s because Québec is a real country and Canada isn’t
J.J. McCullough@JJ_McCullough
I was watching the inauguration of the new Quebec premier, and it's wild how much Quebec does its own thing and brazenly ignores everything Ottawa insists is important. Like, there was no land acknowledgment, they cut out all references to the monarchy, and nothing was bilingual.
English

@CCueilleur @realpeteyb123 Yeah because it’s possible to manufacture school shootings Simple Jack

I used to sell more organic baby formula in southern Florida than all of Canada,
Nobody cares about the Canadian market.
Doug Ford@fordnation
I want to be clear: American alcohol will only go back on shelves when the U.S. removes its tariffs.
English

@nate34560 @realpeteyb123 Were they manufacturing school shootings?
English

@CCueilleur @realpeteyb123 Should have been so you can take back your country but you’re too weak minded of a people for that so it wouldn’t matter anyway
English

@realpeteyb123 I worked in 4 completely separate manufacturing businesses over 20 years in supply chain. 3 of 4 exited Canada as a customer while I was there because their total volume was equivalent to a rounding error vs the US.

@eggoslug Quebec is fucking ridiculous and are language nazis when it comes to that. OLFQ is a Mafia. Bastards drove Taco Bell out of this province. Hell even the road signs are all in French - fuck you to the tourists.
English

@Weird_Canadian @harleyf Here you go, did the research for ya:
Weird" describes something strikingly unusual, bizarre, strange, or unexpected
English

@CCueilleur @harleyf You should look up the definition of weird
English

Québec: #1 in North America for life expectancy
Feels a lot like a blue zone.
Joie de vivre. Strong community. Slower meals. Deep connections.

English

@harleyf Helps when the rest of the country feeds everything you do in your province

@StupendousNatur Quebec is nothing without Montreal. Canada is nothing without Quebec.
English

@darron I'm not going to argue with you, my dude. I think pipelines are dumb, and Albertans don't. It's not going to solve itself today.
Quebec powers most of the East Coast, and some provinces, too. Hydro-Québec is a machine.
Thank you for worrying. We're doing fine.

@mobinfiltrator @frankthetankQC Exactly that is why he is receiving backlash. No way he couldn’t even say a few words in French…
English

@frankthetankQC @CCueilleur So PM could have sent him a quick text saying. “Any chance you could get your wife to put that tweet out in French?” Instead he went on TV and turned it political. 🤷♂️
English

Why is this not posted in English also?
This guy should resign!
English

@mobinfiltrator @CCueilleur And his wife is a native french speaker 🤣
English

@mobinfiltrator @frankthetankQC He has been living in Quebec for 20 years, CEO since Feb 2021. He was criticized in 2021 for not speaking French and committed to learning and doing 1-1 French lessons. Immigrants who do 300 hours of lessons in 6 months (in groups) are doing better than him after 5 years.
English

@CCueilleur @frankthetankQC Thought he was there 20 years?
English

@mobinfiltrator @frankthetankQC It was, he promised the board he would learn in 2021. 5 years and over 500 hours of private lessons later and he still couldn’t say a few words in french
English

@frankthetankQC So it was part of his contract of employment? Got it.
English

@johnnycakes91 @1800ghostman With 500 hours of one on one private French lessons 💀
English

@1800ghostman He couldn’t even lie and read a prepared French statement. A grade 6 student with a 2+ grade average could do that.
