Joining forces w/ @JamesSkoufis on a Public Hearing that will examine the steps taken by the administration & PPL to transition CDPAP workers and enrollees. Our goal is to get the truth out to find solutions that will support those affected by this difficult process.

My CDPAP Accountability Act offers a reasonable alternative to mitigate care disruptions resulting from the failed CDPAP transition while restoring trust in the program. Patients need reliable care & workers need to get paid.  The Governor needs to fix what she broke.

PPL has extended the blanket exception for Personal Assistants to use paper timesheets if they cannot log time in Time4Care, PPL@Home, or by using the PPL Telephony system. This means PAs can use paper timesheets if needed until May 17, 2025. More info: nylag.org/engesser/

I asked @GovKathyHochul about CDPAP transition to PPL and the issues many users are having. We continue to take calls from people who aren't getting paid, who can't get through to anyone on the phone lines and even some who've had their identities compromised by PPL. @news10nbc
