Great day for $IREN. But it's just the start. In honor of @jiahanjimliu, let's make a comparison to $TSLA ... Over 17 months, from August 1st, 2019 to January 1st, 2021, Tesla ripped 17.6x. And I think $IREN is gearing up to do something very similar. Entering August 2019, Tesla was perceived as a financially fragile automaker. Their ability to mass-produce vehicles, finance their growth, and turn an operating profit was deeply in question. But then Tesla delivered on their Shanghai factory, posted an operating profit, showed demand for their Model 3 and Model Y, and the market began to recognize the upside of their software & energy infrastructure. This allowed the market to rerate $TSLA, not only pricing in their existing business but also factoring in future factory capacity. The same is about to happen with $IREN as they: 1) Successfully deliver Horizon 1-4 to $MSFT (and earn another $NVDA Exemplar status) 2) Beat & raise ARR guidance over the next 6 quarters 3) Compute demand for open weight models was proven over the weekend by Kimi 4) Close the Mirantis acqusition by August 3rd, and with that, attract new enterprise customers for managed services contracts The market will then trust $IREN to deliver on what they said they would (480 contracted MWs in 2026 and 1,210 contracted MWs in 2027) AND begin to price in the total 5 GW+ pipeline (remember, there are multiples behind this). It can be hard to press buy after a 20%+ pop, but I think we're about to see a string of announcements + surprises that will finally set $IREN on the right path. Not financial advice, but my personal, conservative Dec 2027 price target is $115. And just for fun, if it ran 17.6x like Tesla, that would be $571 😅.

@rulesnorulers But I was completed on July 16 and they had a celebratory dinner. That’s why I’m saying it’s weird with no word

@LandoInvests @SALLC2023 July 24 after the close would be on par with how they announce, but July 27 would be much better for the share price

My prediction is July 24 after the close or July 27 before open $IREN
Lando@LandoInvests

Regarding $IREN Horizon 1 Handoff: Construction on Horizon 1 wrapped on July 16, with IREN’s team likely completing internal validation and testing by July 19–20. Based on the Microsoft contract details highlighted by @Tree75769 (Delivery Notice → 5-business-day Acceptance Period, with silence = deemed acceptance), we can reasonably expect the handoff/acceptance window to fall between July 24–28. This sets up the first possible announcement as early as Friday, July 24, with early next week (July 27–July 31) being the most probable timeframe for a formal PR or 8-K. Breaking: Nicaragua’s dictator, Daniel Ortega, announced today that his country will no longer hold elections. Here’s @BernieSanders celebrating his role in advising Ortega after he took power, and praising the very socialist dictator who has now abolished elections.
Reuters@Reuters

Nicaragua's long-serving president Daniel Ortega said the Central American country will no longer hold elections, eliminating the possibility ‌of an electoral challenge when his term ends next year and further entrenching the rule he shares with his wife reut.rs/4wSoC0o

N.J. GOV. MIKIE SHERRILL “Last week I learned that a serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years prior to my taking office. These individuals answered ‘no’ when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers' licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway.

@LandoInvests Yeah that’s insane. I haven’t been happy with mgmt decisions and communication lately, but even then it’s easily better than most if not the best

Why did I get removed from Mining Mafia? I noticed I was randomly blocked by a moderator, so I blocked back (as I do with anyone who blocks me). I was then removed from the group. I unblocked but can’t join back…

@IREN_Ltd $IREN Why make a press release about acquiring the nothing burger 🍔 company Awaken but absolute no mention of the completion of #Horizon1 ? One is immaterial and the other is massively material news 📰 globenewswire.com/news-release/2…

@moninvestor I think that today shows that IREN is paying attention to shareholders. Today's press release is awesome but nothing had to be shared today. Everybody was expecting H1 handoff due to rumors from RAISE. Instead of being silent on the topic, they released this. Love to see it.

$IREN today dropped a lot in one press release. $2.8 billion in new multi-year AI Cloud contracts. Year-end ARR target raised from $3.7B to over $4B, with 85% of it already under contract. The customer base is now greatly diverse. Microsoft, NVIDIA, Perplexity, Figure AI, Together AI, Fluidstack, Fireworks, Fal, Hume, plus one unnamed "leading AI developer" they haven't revealed yet. Contract quality is the part I keep coming back to. Customers are prepaying roughly 45% of the GPU capex on the new deals. Clients funding nearly half the hardware upfront. Weighted average contract term is about 4 years. Scale check: 12 months ago IREN had about 3MW of self-built AI Cloud capacity. This year they're delivering 480MW, targeting 1.2GW in 2027. They say demand exceeds everything built and everything planned. $7.6 billion in cash on the balance sheet. Why release all of this in one go and who is the customer they're not naming yet?

Good news from $IREN today. Very glad to see incremental revenue, even if we don’t have the details. Let’s see if they are planning to drop good news all week, especially since everyone was expecting Horizon 1 handover yesterday. Might be more fuel to prevent these gains from vanishing

@DesingerGem @SayNoToTrading It’s finally positive news. But it needs about 150% from here for ATH with a lot of resistance ahead. It’ll take time and more good news

U.S. data centers require: 30x less water than U.S. golf courses. 100x less than California almonds. 200x less than U.S. home lawns. 2,500x less than U.S. crop irrigation. Who is protesting almonds? Golf courses? Lawns? Nobody. China does not feel threatened by your lawn.
