Australian actor and film producer Cate Blanchett presented Pope Leo with a bracelet at the end of the World of Cinema audience in the Apostolic Palace. She explained she wears it “in solidarity with people who are displaced.” As a Goodwill ambassador for the United Nation's refugee agency, UNHCR, she launched the Displacement Film Fund, dedicated to championing and funding “the work of displaced filmmakers, or filmmakers with a proven track record in creating authentic storytelling on the experiences of displaced people.”
