We welcome every small extension of access because these drugs save lives. Untreated #cysticfibrosis kills people too young. But it's too little & 8 yrs after approval, it's too late - Vertex must speed up the roll out, include #kaftrio & many more countries #vertexsaveus $vrtx

@VertexPharma 8 years after licensing in Europe, this is great, if late, for the handful of patients it will help, but a much larger number need #kaftrio incl. many of our members who are very poorly #vertexsaveus

Monika is dying. Needlessly. #kaftrio could sustain her but @VertexPharma isn't seeking to supply it to Poland #cysticfibrosis lives there don't attract big $. Monika is just 24, she raised E40000 to buy the drug herself, that's 2 months supply. Monika deserves more #vertexsaveus

@strawfie The life work of #cysticfibrosis patient @pquinton6 paved way for these drugs by discovering CF fault & he is deeply saddened that #kaftrio still only benefits those 5 countries, with so many others literally dying for access - he's joined the call for global access, will you?

In Asia CF is even rarer than in the US and Europe. It doesn't mean that they should be left out. Everyone with CF deserves treatment @VertexPharma
