"The Bolshevik leaders here in Russia, most of whom are J3ws and 90 percent of whom are returned exiles, care little for Russia or any other country but are internationalists and they are trying to start a world-wide social revolution... - David R. Francis, U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Empire. - January 1918. Quote is from David R. Francis’s 1921 book “Russia from the American Embassy, April 1916–November 1918”

The details of the Russian Bolshevik Revolution aren't taught in our schools because they don't want kids to realize that's exactly what's happening in America today.

@zarahussain999 Bro is respecting the gentleman’s agreement of battle. He gave the Muslim guy his own ladder (the bigger one at that) only to grab another one so they could have a fair fight. And they say white people have no culture 🤦‍♂️

Loved reading the back and forth between you guys btw, been a fun read. I wanted to echo the sentiment though of the previous gentleman’s statement in regards to God requiring no vow, when I was reading through the conversation the first thing that had come to mind was Jesus’ commandments in regards to making oaths. Matthew 5:34-37 “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Imo I would agree with the previous guy’ statement based on purely this, the vow was not necessary, by Jesus own statement his vow is outright from the enemy, who then turns it around on him when the first thing he sees is his own daughter. So from a theological outlook, the vow was made erroneously, and he ultimately paid the price for it. Thoughts? 👀

@Bruhquatch @TudigongS9791 God literally overcame him, then he made the vow then God worked in his favor to get the conditions of the vow and then he didn’t intervene when the vow was fulfilled. No intervention at all nor a message. Nothing. Literally watched that girl burn in his name.

Daily reminder Christian’s ignore the fact Jephthah makes a vow to Yahweh for victory in battle: whatever comes out of his house first, he’ll offer as a burnt offering. It’s his daughter. He carries it out.

@TheBows3 @deepellumdog @Enoch77777777 I think this sentiment is echoed as well in Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." the snake and scorpions metaphorically as a representation of the enemy.

@deepellumdog @Enoch77777777 Exact word fallacy. Just bc it’s not explicitly said doesn’t mean it’s false. Snakes are symbolically used for sin throughout the Bible. The snake told Eve to distrust God, which is sin. Exodus as mentioned. Jesus calls Pharisees “brood of vipers”. Psalms uses this metaphor too.

I had to leave Christianity and study the Bible before I realized that the Bible starts and ends with gardens, and Jesus returns humanity to the exact same conditions that the snake wanted for Adam and Eve. It’s called a restoration. When I was a Christian it was never taught.

IMO it boils down to landlord stability. A family tends to be more anchored where they live than somebody who is single. A family is more likely to anchor themselves for the long term in that renting situation than a single individual is. Long term renters who have less ability to pick up and leave on a whim = reliable long term gains via rent.

No denomination is correct nor true, for all institutions have fallen from grace, have transgressed the law & commandments, and are guilty of sin. We, the body, are flawed; imperfect. The only good, correct and true to be found is found in He who is Mighty, the Lord Jesus Christ, That being said; F.

The framework for our structure and way of life has never been more malleable. Change has never been more possible. We worry because the clay pot is drooping and beginning to deform, when we instead should be excited by the fact that it’s never been easier to reshape. The sun is rising bro,

@brandilwells If it’s a psyop, ignore the event and find out what else happened that same day. If it is a psyop, this event was meant to gain traction and views to cover up something else that was going on around the same time.

I would argue it’s beginning to gain traction among the youth. Specifically the tail end of the millennials, and a good chunk (if not majority) of gen-z. I can only really speak to Christianity personally, which currently is experiencing an uptick and revival among the youth. But Christianity aside, spirituality as a whole is huge these days. Not to the extent of our grandparents generation of course, But to claim it’s non-existent or disappearing I think is untrue and misleading.

Children are born atheists, and they don’t believe in gods until someone teaches them. So Religious belief isn’t natural, it’s indoctrinated.

I was not justifying anything. I was simply making the case that religion is absolutely natural to the human experience, considering the evidence that you find religion and belief across all cultures, all peoples, across all of human history. For as long as humanity has existed, they’ve believed in some form of the supernatural or spiritual. Therefore, faith of some kind comes naturally to humanity. To be human is to believe in something, even if that belief is the belief that there isn’t anything to believe in at all. To what extent each belief system is valid is a separate discussion, but to deny that belief in general isn’t innate to the human experience is ludicrous.

@CF_WilliamSt @hell_line0 Conveniently, leaving out religion has been used as a scapegoat for things that we don’t understand. Society has indoctrinated religion most times as a form of control, without it the people may actually think for themselves. “Everybody does it” isn’t justification for religion
