"I’m thinking about changing my job. This is the thought we’re all having right now ... It's hard sometimes waiting here. it's a guessing game when it's going to be cleared … We heard some of our friends have been stuck for almost two days. - Kiratsimran Deol Canadian truck driver stuck at the border for over 24 hrs because of CBSA outage.

“I think we all need to remember that we have human beings sitting in those trucks for hours... and that matter needs to be addressed. This needs to be fixed from both an economic side and from a human side. - said Stephen Laskowski, president of the Canadian Trucking Alliance.

While Parliament focuses on pseudo-issues, Canadians and their economy continue to suffer. When will one of our political parties admit that these constant labour disruptions in our supply chains are unsustainable and commit to finding a better way? apple.news/A8GfJQDwUQOGbI…

I am closely monitoring the negotiations on the ports in British Columbia and Montreal. Both sets of talks are progressing at an insufficient pace, indicating a concerning absence of urgency from the parties involved. Public services, such as ports, exist to serve the needs of Canadians. It is with this in mind that the federal government supports these negotiations. The parties must reach an agreement quickly.
