@PuckPickz It will be interesting to see if the front office and fans have the same definition of “ambitious” when it comes to new signings this summer.

It’s time to display that ambition with real action over the next few months. I honestly won’t believe it fully until we see the permanent transfers completed.

@PuckPickz Not a fan. Enforce the rules that already deal with time wasting and faking injuries. Why create more rules that eventually won’t be enforced either? I like the idea of giving a corner when a goal kick takes too long, same with throw-ins. Fine players for diving and it will stop

I’m for this. Get rid of stoppage time. This would do wonders to prevent the time wasting that occurs at the end of the game. Nothing irritates me more in the sport than all the fake injuries at the end of the match. Give more yellows for diving and stop teams from ruining games.

@tombogert Great article. Gives hope to a STL fan…sounds like you just need an owner who is actually willing to try to put in some effort to to land a player and a sporting project that isn’t a dumpster fire. How many years away is CITY from getting a player like that? 5? 17? 25? Never?

Be it due to finishing, sub timing, the subs themselves, or a combination of those factors and more, CITY has really seen a dropoff in the 2nd half of matches this year. The 4th best xGD club in the league in the 1st half plunges to 18th in the 2nd half of matches.

@cardsball45 @RedSmokeRising I think Damet will be a good coach one day. I just think it is too big of job for a first time head coach at this level to try navigate this dumpster fire to some sort of success.

I was really ok with the progress until Austin. I didn’t have high expectations for the season and fundamentally believe our roster is not up to par with most MLS teams. Even so, we played teams close and were appearing to improve each week. The Austin game was a huge wakeup call. Can’t have many more of those. To be real though. No matter what- I believe Damet’s job is safe- no matter what- into next season- when Wray’s timeline of windows expires to reset the roster.

@Sunsetx @MLSMoves I’d love for STL to get any star. Problem is, we are a dumpster fire who also won’t spend big. Unless they have a Tina Turner fetish, I think we are a few years away from convincing someone of that caliber to come here.

Ostrak still isn’t fully recovered from his injury & missed training today for management after his minutes in the Open Cup They want him “full” out of the World Cup break. “I would much rather take care of him now & get him back 100% in the summer” He’s out 2-3 times a week.
