We're delighted to launch the UK's first Dementia Resource Centre today in the @cairngormsnews. Spending time outdoors is proven to enhance mental, physical and social wellbeing. The Centre aims to give people with dementia a rediscovered sense of freedom to explore nature.

Really informative visit to the Lanarkshire Dementia Resource Centre, meeting Alana and Lindsay. They showed us around and introduced us to their brain health quiz, interactive projector and sensory room.

Delighted to start next month as a PhD student at @StirUni under supervision of @rhaynes66. Research will focus on the development of organised football in Scotland, 1823-73. Working part-time on this over 4 years so I can continue in my roles at the Museum & Football Memories.

If the only way for care homes to mitigate transmission risks from COVID or future pandemics is to lockdown and isolate people in their rooms, deny them access to their loved ones and any form of normal living, then we must question whether this is the right model going forward⬇️
