Girls Chase 🏃‍♀️💨
I have a Gen Z client in California who works for the military on airplanes but also teaches martial arts. We were talking about how to present himself to girls. “I’m in the military” is polarizing; some girls love military guys (especially the girls who are former military brats themselves) but others immediately turn skeptical. For a few months I’ve had him telling girls “I’m the guy who makes planes fly”, since that is basically his job, and it’s a lot more interesting than “I work for the military” or “I’m an airplane technician.” It’s certainly gotten him better results (including a slew of new lovers) and fewer negative reactions than just coming out and saying “I’m in the military.” However, he hadn’t told me about the martial arts instructor bit, and when I heard that I told him, “That needs to be in how you present yourself.” He asked why. Well, here is the thing with occupation: a lot of guys try to present themselves as having ‘important’ positions, title-wise or company-affiliation wise. They want girls to hear 1️⃣ “I make good money” and/or 2️⃣ “I have good affiliations” But neither of these things EXCITES women. Women meet a lot of guys who “make good money” and “have good affiliations.” Something that very much DOES excite women, though, is authority. “I teach martial arts” is instant authority: • She instantly pictures what that means (you in front of a dojo ordering a bunch of students to do push-ups, practice strikes, perfect their kicks, etc.) • She knows it means you are ordering other MEN around, too, most likely (i.e., you are a “leader of men”) • She likely has some experience being in a position where a martial arts instructor ordered her around, even if it was just a trial class or two — at the very least, she had gym class (PE) in school, which is very similar Right away, she gets a FEELING that “this guy is dominant, he is used to telling people what to do, he is an authority over other strong men, he is a leader.” All this is much more attractive to her lizard brain than “good money + good affiliations.” I told him this, and he said “You’re right, when I have told women I teach martial arts their eyes always light up and they get very interested.” You may not be a martial arts instructor, but you should look for anything you do in your life through which you exercise AUTHORITY, and aim to present yourself that way when women ask, assuming you have something that fits the bill. For instance: • If you manage a team, you do not say “I’m a manager at ABC Corp” (sounds low authority) but rather “I boss around a bunch of people doing XYZ” (sounds high authority) • If you teach a class, you can often just use that: “I’m a ski / salsa / tennis / whatever instructor.” Something physical is usually better than something cerebral for authority points (surf instructor vs. poetry professor); but if you teach something cerebral, just beef up the authority you convey in the description (e.g., poetry professor: “I tell people how to write better”) • If you’re a dad (dads are very attractive to women), you can just use “I order my children around. [pause] Oh, you meant what I do for work? I’m a [whatever].” Even if your job has no authority, you can compensate for that by talking about a domain in which you do have authority (in this case, parenting) What if you have NO authority you can use? Well, you can survive without it. It isn’t make or break. But it is a nice ‘amplifier’ to have. Might even be worth thinking about a group, hobby, or activity you can do once a week that will place you in a leadership position, just so that you CAN hit the ‘authority’ switch!

I didn't want to say this when the war started. Not to generalize for any nation. But when I was studying for Masters in Economics in Canada, the sharpest kids in the program were Chinese and Iranians. Chinese used to work really hard. Iranians had the practical IQ. In those classes you basically had to forget about the bell curve.

I'm not a political expert or have any education in this field. Looking from the side until now, it seems like there has been misjudgment on many fronts. Markets might be expecting more of that misjudgment in the near future.

My wife got a €3,000 bonus at work "Baby, let's got on holiday!" she was so happy I chuckled "Holiday? You need to pay all due taxes first" €1,750 - Income tax €350 - Social contribution €100 - Solidarity surcharge "Okay, so we still have €800 left..." she said quietly "You mean €800 that you should pay into the immigrant integration fund?" "But..." "But what? Are you seriously that selfish?" She didn't say another word Sometimes I wonder how she even functioned before she met me
